I’m didn’t like the story much until chapter 3 But I was hooked after scar, Aalto, and encore I played in the JP but the English male VAs are actually amazing even back in 1.0 I might actually switch to English since VA quality is improved and the new character is voiced by Jennifer English
no clue if this info is useful to you and how you wanna prioritize stuff for your stream, but it is possible to play the 2.0 content - like story e.g. - after completing chapter 1 act 3 - so at this point you should already be able to play the rinascita content. just letting you know in case you want to stream day one and maybe end up pressuring yourself, because you think you need to get through all of 1.x first

I get they were forced to do American accents, but even watching others play the game and seeing other characters speak... I don't like most of them except Aalto and so far the little sneak peak of Carlota .
@@fel524 They launched without a voice director (for some reason). They improved a ton after hiring a voice director. Even Yangyang, who was THE WORST voice at launch.
@@knightmare3197 I heard they did, but I've also heard the fem MC speak in Black Shores and it still felt awful... Maybe that's just me though. I do quite like Shorekeeper's voice too, now that I think about it

dude first time hearing the English VA for fem Rover is ... jesus christ. Haven't heard stiffer delivery in my life...
it gets better, the starting points were stiffer when launched, its better now and later acts get better too.
