Press the reset button top left of the screen surround.very small hole can be seen.Use a pin or pen and hold for 10 seconds. When the system reboots it usually give you touchscreen control back. Worth a try.Mine does the same sometimes.
My own problem turned out to be a miswiring. The unit wasn't properly grounded, which caused a lot of abnormal behavior. Once the Hyundai dealer detected the problem, they replaced the unit (and presumably wired the new one up correctly). Because I had videoed the problem and the car was still under warranty at the time, the repair was free to me. My newer unit has worked fine since, car now has 106k miles.
Osama Muhsin -- They replaced my system because I was able to show them this video of it not working. When they replaced the system, they told me that the previous system had been miswired -- it wasn't properly grounded. If this is happening to you, try to film it in action, and they may be able to help you. At my dealer, I had to email them the video (that is, not on UA-cam) to prove it was really my car and my video, but once I did that, they replaced the system under warranty. Depends how old your car is, of course, but mine was new enough at the time. Haven't had the problem since.
@@jennschrader5105 Thanks for the information. After I solve a few other issues with my car hopefully I'm able to replace the touch screen as this has happened to me. Screen is frozen and can't use anything of it

if you have the same problem get the carton card and try to clean the space between the screen and frame. it helps in my case.

I held the reset button in for 30 seconds, and it worked;) my touch screen was doing exact same thing
