As someone born in the early 70s and admiring cars as a kid in the 70s and early 80s, I have very fond memories of affordable sports cars such as the Toyota Celica. My dad almost bought a 1st gen Celica LT back in 1977 but ended up buying a 4th gen Ford Cortina instead for its 4 doors practicality. The 86/BRZ reminds me a lot of the rwd Celicas and to me they are the modern day rwd Celicas. I think people should be very grateful the GR86/BRZ offer both transmissions, as many owners need to let one of their family members drive their cars occasionally be it their wife or an offspring who only has an automatic driver's license. Nowadays many young people do not even bother going for a manual transmission driver's license. Not only it is harder to pass in the ever stricter testing standards worldwide, the youngsters do not know what wonderful shifting experience they are missing at their first place hence they don't miss working the gearshift and the clutch pedal. With the lack of manual transmission new cars available in affordable passenger cars market worldwide many don't ever bother considering learning the skills to drive a manual trans car, even before one consider the EV options coming thick and fast. And lastly unlike the 80s and 90s where automatic cars were handicapped by slow gearchanges and one or even 2 gears less than the manual version it is now the other way around. Auto transmission makers have done too good of a job since the early 2000s starting with the VW group DSG transmission, and then ZF came out with their 8spd auto and now we have 9 and 10 speed auto from MBenz, GM-Ford + Lexus for example. Old school person like me might think a Golf R DSG feels too electronic and playing in a simulator but for many youngsters that's exactly the feeling they are chasing and comfortable with.
One of the magazine in UK (can't remember which one) described it as "The cheapest Porsche you can buy today !" . It's one of the highest compliment you could give to a non Porsche car.
Snooker = Sports? Yes, snooker is a type of sports... that means Sports is not just talking about Power &/or Speed... If so, Sports car means a tool/equipment/car that can let you do / play sports (or play like doing sports... with excitement and fun and sweats and... ) 😅

第一代力量表面上好似唔夠,但它真是關了tcs後駕駛者做甚麼動作它反映甚的車,即使你的輸入有幾細微。所以如果用來鍛煉/保持駕駛觸覺,或者享受真正無人工化駕駛,它比很多馬力更更大的車更適合,第二代的powerband更好用,效果不言而喻。豐田與富士(其實主要是豐田章男)的堅持,令今時今日還有這類作品。

小弟上年都返左一部,不過係普通版的R grade,即係17寸PRIMACY 4胎版本,同時也上過大山試車。
雖然抓地力不及18寸PS4胎版本,但同樣係車頭好入彎,然後車尾會巡軌跡跟住入彎,而且整個過程係好有行軌道的感覺。就算我地off埋個traction,片住入車尾都唔係甘輕易甩,儘管係PRIMACY 4環保胎XD
估計係與BRZ的尾蝦囌(尾平衡杆)的固定位置不同於GR86,而是與車體連結的關係,成分尾個下盤好扎實。
同埋BRZ個hub carrier係鋁合金,GR86係鑄鐵,都令兩車的動態產生好大的區別。
希望龍Sir可以在呢方面解釋一下,分析下兩者優劣 :)
另外,關於聲音,今代個Active sound control系統變成電子控制,不能移除。
期待日後有更多新片!

何謂跑車,規格大家就講左好多,不如講下感覺, 我覺得跑車就係應該要有一種年少輕狂既感覺, 好似一個年輕人要有種衝勁, 令人想踩快,一種自由既feeling。 同時有自由即係無負擔, 後座坐唔到人只係擺背囊,尾箱行李擺唔落左砌右砌一定有幾件塞埋係尾座。
最後叫得自由一定係價錢啦, 價錢唔可以貴而且最好係可以DIY, 好似年青人咁收入唔多但總要係某d位表現出自我既個性。
今代BRZ/86 真係滿足晒以上條件(除左香港打左稅後都係貴) , 唯一既唯一缺點係, 外型應該做得再誇張d少d妥協。
已和86共處咗八年,每次開車後都會覺心甜。回家一定經過一高速S字彎,實掟至一百K自娛。
每次見朋友,若不需做柴可夫實揸呢駕而唔係另一三角星車,因86好玩又有性格。
因太座關係,要買自動波。車價只貴Camry少少。賣大包!

其實唔知係咪符合返日本車廠8-90年代嘅風格,只要日本車廠造返280匹gentlemen's agreement嘅馬力嘅話,佢點做都好有個性。
比如話豐田呢兩年做嘅GR86/BRZ,Edmond好鍾意嘅GR Yaris之類,其實最大馬力都好近當年嘅280匹嘅range,但去到GR Supra咁嘅位(雖然佢本質係一架寶馬) 可能日本車廠都冇乜經驗tune呢啲車,反而冇佢地低級小小嘅跑小小嘅車款做得咁好。
講到想REV Channel試嘅野,除咗上次講嘅Giulia之外,可唔可以試埋S660 Modulo X🤤由土屋圭市開發嘅絕種小跑車,等Edmond講下64匹夠唔夠做sports car🤤車架真係硬到阿媽都唔認得,值得一試~

RX8的power band較濶,轉子引擎轉數一直由三千轉升上八九千轉好像無止境似的,但勁度及不上新BRZ,BRZ有近四千轉動力區間也十分好用。

Sports car在我看来需要低矮,操控优秀,动力车重比例适当。剩下的都是Performance Sedan/Coupe, Hot/Mega Hatchback, GT。 现在单独的底盘和车身可能就是最大区别吧。作为第一代BRZ车主,觉得引擎质感太粗糙,车身刚性不算太足,引擎声音难听,没想到新的一代竟然针对弱点进化了,可惜所在的地方因为环保没法上牌新款了。现在换了宝马M235, 每次快开的时候都在想和BRZ的不同,快开的时候其实BRZ的信心似乎更足。。。

其實我21年12月初已經訂咗, 澳洲,first allocation, total 500。呢家揸緊86 GTS,對引擎出力唔滿意。
兩個禮拜前本地車行叫我去試車。
試完,對車架同引擎滿意。
但係對原廠煞車唔滿意,唔滿意嘅點係在於無得原廠升級。
過兩日,取消訂單。澳洲Subaru總部即刻call我,問詳細原因。
我話,你地showroom部demo car係上曬全套STI零件。我問點解我唔可以option,點解2022年嘅車依然係用2012年嘅煞車,明明大部分舊款嘅STI parts全部都可以直上。而且個尾箱,依然放備胎,唔平,完全影響日常使用。我部13年86都係原廠tyre repair kit。
佢地都話原廠配送係咩就係咩,呢家無任何辦法。可能有人會覺得我唔應該對原廠要求咁高,以上所有野都可以自己訂,再換。
我反而覺得我更加應該取消訂單,因為呢d野應該係銷售方自己解決,已經係2022年,BRZ仲有幾多生存空間?就算你賣貴d,有誠意嘅話我一樣真金白銀支持Subaru。但如果係咁無誠意嘅話,我絕對唔會買。

馬力大當然唔叫跑車 淨係講香港一堆tesla 每一架隨便都300匹up 但係呢啲車上大山一定唔夠好多200幾匹既車黎
始終重量十分高,就算電池放在車底,重心低,但車體的mass仍然很大。不過,Tesla都在改善中,model 3跑大帽山,表現已有大進步
