either way on the mpcs.. But thanks for the congrats, We are all producers and engineers, working on that site is challenging to say the least, but we plan on creating almost like a forum, where producers can pay producers, everyone has loops or some sense of music they have made, so we are glad to have it up and going.. thanks man
Hey bro. I got a question. When I making a beat on the Renaissance and I'm recording a part it stacking my sounds like the midi is freezing and it dont sound like what I just recorded. Can you tell me why this is happening
lol I'm the same way man. I'm used to using the akai mpk with logic pro and the mlc ten is mad complicated and difficult compared to the mpk for sampling and such.
Thanks for the answer, cause i have a symphony io too, and i wondering to buy a Big Ben and the possibility to Clock my Renaissance and my Access Virus .
Yeah, you could always run spdif out of the symphony if you have it, to the ren in.. I did that as well, then used the ren like a live instrument, with a seperate macbook computer.. running it.. that was fun, That's if you enjoy recording live.... a few option for sure, but you can clock both from the symphony I believe..
Hey Doug someone gave me an alesis 3630 external compressor. I know they are cheap but I was just curious to know how could I run/master my tracks from the mpc Reniassance through the external compressor? I just wanna hear what it sounds like for the hell of it. Thanks
shoot just seen this.. In the mpc manual, there is a section called rerecord.. I believe. it has to do with sending a sound out.. then into the compressor, then back into the software and rerecording whatever sound's you need.
Cool, let me know what you decide to sell because I have a friend that is actually looking for an 5k, 2500 or Ren. also conrats on the loop guru site. Nicely constructed, I plan on jumping on board with some loops..
That's the Digidesign Avid C24. Its two versions. the older version is analog to digital, the one that came out a few years later is just digital, and you can't plug mics into the back. But, it's not a mixer. It's a Pro Tools controller surface. You can control the whole software on that board.
Thanks Man! We are selling a mpc2500 Gold and black.. if anyone is looking. Not trying to spam you with right off the bat, but thanks for the sub.. means the world to us...
I almost sold it, I had a guy come at me a little lower then I though it was worth.. I have a mpc5000 coming in, had a credit at guitar center, and it was on the shelf used, so I put it on hold.. they have a 30 day law in my area, can't leave for 30 days because of theft, so I will have 2 mpcs, got to sell one of them
