I use "Minwax" brand Pre-Stain wood conditioner.

Wood conditioner how much per color

Only about a drop or two per color. Doesn’t take much to make it great!

For this pour it was PVA glue (Elmer's Glue-All) and water - typically I mix 60% glue / 40% water.
