Actually they do friendly fire. Or to be more specific, Item loaded crawler will. Try load a line of crawler with surge and you will have lightning chain

The crawler suffers most from the unit cap. They do well in giant numbers, and having a cap means that it cant reach its true potential. This could be applied to ALL units, bht the crawler has a very short build time, so amassing THOUSANDS of them would be far easier than the other t1s. But still if there want a cap itwould blow every other unit of of the water
