New Brvtalism No. 420 - Pooja B

The Brvtalist is proud to present a new mix from Pooja B. Originally from India and now based in Berlin, she uses her understanding of dancefloor psychology to curate sets that resonate with her own love for dancing. Feeling most at home with the fundamental techno sound she heard in Berlin’s clubs on her first trip to the city in 2016, she evokes the polarity of her femme & masculine energy while embracing the neurodiverse spectrum of her musicality. Reflecting the place & time, you could hear her play energetic grooves, brain-massaging frequencies, or dark industrial textures.
With a growing presence, Pooja B plays for many queer collectives & clubs in Berlin & beyond. Recently she played at Tresor Berlin and debuted at RSO Berlin. Her own music productions often have socio-political references, & she aspires to play more music by FLINTA & BIPOC artists. Pooja B is involved in diverse communities, working on transcultural inclusion, equity, and mental health in music. Today we are thrilled to bring you this powerful journey through her sound.
