Nah Keanu is legendary for being a consumate professional. And a very kind human being. He once used his salary on the matrix to buy the entire stunt crew lavish gifts. Either expensive watches or motorcycles. I forget which one. I think Common got side tracked. Had Melo said what about Keanu he would have answered. I have a feeling though that what common was going to say is denzel is more about the script and the drama and emotion while Keanu (especially with a movie like John Wick) is focused on the action and getting it right. Keanu does his stunts I believe so that where common was probably going

He's good & popular, but not great.

Check out the different characters Jeffrey Wright and Mustafa Shakir have played. Damon Wayans was great on In Living Color.

Completely reductive. You're at the ground floor of understanding acting.
I wouldn’t refer to him as overrated, but most of his roles are very catered to his style of acting. With that being mentioned, his roles as Malcolm X and Steve Biko and even his role as MacBeth are departures from his normal cadence. I’d even throw in his role as Alonzo in Training Day too.
