Thank you for sharing about the conversion, especially the details. I've personally done repowers and understand even the best planning can't cover all unforeseen issues when performing the work. I appreciate your ingenuity and dedication to the project. I hope your tractor serves you well. You will always have the pleasure and joy of running the machine you built!!! Thanks again for posting your video.
Wow great engineering, congrats to a great machine! Like the brackets for the hydraulic outlets, looks clean. Never understod why Steiger itself had the hoses laying arond. IH the same.
Real nice, always loved the lime green color, that KTA motor looks great super tough, great job at the rebuild, just wondering if she is heavy enough to hold that big engine ,just curious
@nathanshelton4477. Thanks Nathan, it’s a beautiful looking machine. I assume you have to clutch to shift or is it a power shift with lower top end and more pulling torque?
You have put a lot of work into it and it looks good ,,but why would you open up the side panels beside the motor to let all the elements in like mud, dirt , stubble , and so on to me that is a mistake .I'd protect that motor with some sort of removable or lift up panels ... but good job .
Great build. Thank you for sharing the details.
You Sir are very talented man ,that tractor is a masterpiece, I can hardly wait to see it out working.
Never have I ever seen a custom build look so factory. I tip my hat to you.
So awesome. The value of the tractor is incredible. Using components that can be serviced down the road, the power hood…..very nice.

You need to be in the engineering department at the factory, great job and best of all not a lot of electronics to go wrong

Looks like a good project to do.
Beautiful Nathan, where are the range shifters? Did you make that electric?

How long did this tractor take for a total rebuild from start to finish.
