- Hello my beautiful people ❤ First of all I want to thank you for all of the support on my first interrail videos, I am so happy that you guys like to follow along on our journey! I could talk about Vienna’s beauty all day long but you have to see it for your own eyes in this video, it’s just STUNNING! It was so much fun to try out Austrian food and pastries, it is so yummy. If you are looking for a beautiful city that offers a lot of things to do and is not over-crowded with tourists, then Vienna is the city for you.

Another fantastic vlog. Hooray for Helgi saving the day getting the camera batteries! 😇So interesting about the public transport experience. This comes up often in my city - that we don't make enough efforts for tourists, which is a shame. After your trip you will be able to advise on the good and bad of how things should be done. Are you serious? These places are almost everywhere near the inner city. You must either have been strolling through Vienna with your eyes closed or visited the wrong districts.

edit: Since you were in Prater, I would really recommend the "Planetarium" there if you are interested in the universe or stars in any way, its cheap (10€ p.P), the Carl Zeiss Star Projector is amazing as well as the beamers, music and whole experience, "shows" for adults usually start 7pm... must see!

The next time in Vienna you really should visit the Belvedere and Schönbrunn Palace with its giant gardens and stop by at one of the reknown Heurigen (nom.: "Heuriger") restaurants.

2:00 Religion doesnt play much of a role anymore - but there is a law that every establishment has to be closed 1 day out of 7.
5:00 General rule: If there is a long line of tourists and no locals its either not worth the effort or there is a way around it. That place has become a sort of tourist trap over the years, overhyped in my opinion.
btw Schnitzel is supposed to be one piece of thin meat. If its multiple pieces its the usually the sign, that the kitchen is cutting corners and recycling returned plates a second time.
13:17 If you r visiting a city I recommend sporty or comfy leather shoes - you will be walking a lot on foot.
15:30 I only would like to add that Prater is the name of the entire central park there and just a small section of it is transformed into an amusement park.
17:25 Well.. you visited the 7th district that day...Siebensternebräu is a nice local option there (4ex).
the Danube chanel is below street level and as such sunsets r kinda difficult to see - rather recommend one of the hills in the north for that.
Well you barely saw anything in the city, but its didnt seem to be your goal anyway^^ Let me know when you r in the area again I may be able to give a couple tips.
