Now I want a song where the ember island players recap everything that happened so far, but with an obvious drop in quality compared to the rest of the musical. It would work great if they were able to edit the story slightly so that it was the first song after intermission, but that might be a bit hard since the intermission would likely be between seasons 2 and 3.

I can imagine all the Kyoshi warriors doing epic backflips and spins and then towards the end the music gets louder and more instruments set in and then it gets quieter again and only sokka and suki are in the spotlight

I’d also love to see a love song between Asoka and Yue and a ballad from Yue the moment she decides to offer her life for the moon spirit. Also the Beach episode campfire scene. Katara learning to blood bend. And Aang asking his past lives for advice on what to do in his battle against Ozai. Oh and Azula manipulating tailee to leave the circus.

This might be me reading to much into things and maybe it’s been said before, but I really love like the dobbel mening of «a miss never misses” cuz it means that fighting like a girl means fighting like a badass, but misses Back in the day kinda meant a woman that “belongs to a man” cuz the title mrs can mean mr’s, and miss would mean an unmarried woman that dosen’t “belong to a man”. So by saying “a miss never misses” they can also mean that all the kyoshi warriors are their own women that belong to themselves.

AHH THIS IS AMAZING, THIS HONESTLY REALLY SOUNDS LIKE A LEGITIMATE MUSICAL, FROM THE SINGING TO THE INSTRUMENTAL TO THE LYRICS. YOU'RE SO TALENTED.

Suki's voice gave me literal chills. Wow. The fight/dance break also gave me brilliant imagery for stage choreography. These lyrics fit the Kyoshi Warriors so well--especially the chorus. I love this so much!!

Her music fits ATLA perfectly! Honestly I highly doubt you’ll even need to have watched all of it when the whole musical comes out in order to understand. Of course if you have the time you should still totally finish it while we’re waiting for this to get on Broadway 😉 it’s a really good show! 😁

Elvedina Subasic well I’m pretty sure that’s like the end goal but I think for now the group is just making as many songs as they can and it might just end up as a UA-cam musical thing and not like broadway or whatever but I do hope they get like a demo album out at some point in the future!
I love the idea of an Atla musical. Both my childhood and something else I adore mixed into one thing! I just hope that they leave Leaves From the Vine alone though, it feels more respectful to Mako that way. It’s his song after all. What I picture on stage in that moment instead is the silhouette of Iroh at the tree, just sitting quietly. I think it’s be more impactful that way too. Like a silent reminder.

It would also be nice if it plays very silently in the background like its a tune that comes in certain parts in the musical like scenes with Zuko and Iroh.

@@isabelsellers1533 true but we also have to take into account that its not only a costume change but a makeup one. The dressing screen could definitely work for putting the clothes on, but im not so sure about the kyoshi warrior makeup. Maybe if she adds another dance interlude before the "do I really have to wear this?" line it could work. Plus who doesn't want to see more kyoshi warriors dancing yknow?

Not that this song isn’t already perfect, but I can think of a gap after the end where they have a short heart-to-heart about why it falls to teenagers to protect their homes in the first place - Sokka about being the only warrior left in his village and failing to do anything about Zuko and the Southern Raiders, Suki about the constant attacks by pirates (perhaps alluding to losing her parents). Sokka praises Suki for actually being successful in her role as protector; Suki commends him in turn for going out and trying to solve the bigger problem of the war. When I first watched “The Warriors of Kyosuke”, my one possible complaint was that I didn’t understand how Suki could become attracted to Sokka so quickly and giving them a little moment of deeper emotional connection might solve that. Then they have another round. Unlike every time before where Suki had at least some advantage, Sokka is finally able to match her blow for blow.

This is an amazing song! The Kyoshi Warriors, especially Suki, were always my favorite part of the franchise. (When you sang her parts, you sounded a lot like her, so I really loved that.) When I was a kid, first getting into the show, I wanted to be rather a Kyoshi Warrior or a waterbender. (Both a stretch, I know, but I was 7.) Episode 4 is also my favorite of Book 1, so I REALLY appreciated this. I haven't been able to stop listening to it! It's SO GOOD!

The orchestration is simply beautiful. I love how flowing it all is - that's not a "BOOM BOOM PUNCH" kind of fighting scene, it's a "use your opponent's moves against them" kind of action scene and i can visualize how it will look. simply wonderful

Emirichu is the reason why I know your channel and I am so glad she introduced me to it. Because I feel like that there was love put into this song and effort whereas to some otherd who do covers, it doesn't really feel like there was effort put into it, but more of a chore vibe. None of that chore vibe feeling is in here, I only hear someone who is genuinely happy and satisfied to make this.
