"Blake spoke at my star induction ceremony six years ago. Six years ago, which is how many years ago I got it. Which means I got it six years before you for me. Sexiest man alive - 2017. Blake. 13 - four years before he got it. I did everything that you did before you did it."

"I kind of stopped checking things off my list of accomplishments, great accomplishments in my life when I married Gwen. And so this is just icing on the cake. But I love you so much. And that's the greatest thing that's happened along this journey. My family is all here, by the way, from Oklahoma. And I was talking to my mom this morning. And I was just thinking about what I'm gonna say when I get up here. And she said to me, she goes, you know, I wish Richie could have been here to see this and everything that you've done. And I feel like that's probably the best way to wrap this up. Richie was my brother that I lost many, many years ago. So I dedicate my star on this Walk of Fame to my brother Richie. And thank you guys so much. Thank you."

"The first few times I ever came to to Los Angeles, we had to drive down, you know, Hollywood here to to see this stuff. And this is where your dreams begin in Hollywood. It's never where I thought my path would lead me. It just shows you that being at the right place at the right time out is what it takes in this business. Because I always wanted to be just a country singer. And that was that was as big as my dream got. And then that was plenty making it on to the radio, but then - for it to lead to a television show and then some movies and other side projects and things that all come together and and mix together. And that's how you end up with one of these things eventually. And somehow that happened for me."

I watch the voice because of Blake. You will be missed. There is one thing that I don’t like about you is your drinking every time you are on TV. My late husband was an alcoholic and it really makes me sad to see that you may end up that way. I hope you stop and think about the example you are setting for your kids. Hope to see you on the TV again. Best wishes as you start this part of your journey.
