They only care about how useful we are as machines to make the deus ex machina more effective with us. What we don't know is that the deus ex machina will learn too much about us that he will decide that we are better controlled than free
0:59 i was one of those 4 people, we spent the night drinking and smashed the computer in the driveway and super glued the chunks into the cavities of the armor. Super proud of Jonah and so happy to see him get the recognition he deserves.
This needs to be made into a comic strip, except actually with the real master chief and 4 friends getting together to get drunk and smash computers… to save the universe!!!
I was there as well. After smashing the computer Jonah drank a shot of rum and puked all over the suit, we had to spray it with the hose. When he first put it on the inside liner gave him a massive wedgie so bad he had to be hospitalized for 3 hours. He never changed the design he just said he "trained to condition himself" to not feel the wedgies anymore but wouldn't explain in detail what that means.

I bet that sucks for him. I’m pretty sure the Spartans are outfitted with Mark V at that point. Plus the helmet is very clearly Mark V. Mark IV looks kinda like a blend of the sleek Mark V visor with the Mark VI grooves.

To be fair to Master Cheeks, I feel like the appearance of his armour wasn't one of the major complaints. But no denying this is some splendid work by that cosplayer.
Yeah, real problem with Master Cheeks lies solely with the writers. I wouldn't have minded him not having his helmet on all the time if he'd actually been a well written character. Instead of being the stoic and tactical Chief we all know and love, he's a roided up manbaby who throws hissy fits on the battlefield. If only the writing team's souls weren't weighed down by gravity.

The magnetic holster for the Magnum was so smooth I didn't even notice it at first. It's such a subtle detail, but it absolutely sells the realism of this costume. Fantastic work.

I used to play hooky back in high school when Halo CE first came out on the original Xbox. Beat that game on Legendary.... played for so many years after that, then I grew up, life took over... and the Halo series came out. Now I'm old and nostalgic and downloaded Halo on the new Xbox and am playing the remastered version and it literally brings me back to my high school days. haha
