💯💚🌱💚Vegan for Them💚🌱💚 I really liked Acharya's answer to someone not being interested because they aren't good at studying at 4:10 The flexitarian question is based on diet, & not ethics & morals, "Veganism doesn't start with diet, it ends with diet" 💚 The utilitarian question is actually tied in with hedonism & the lack of care about the life that was harmed & lost for personal pleasure like taste & convenience like protein - instead of learning how to source plant protein so the goat doesn't have to die at all. It is always negative when someone dies, especially for convenience & pleasure, the human not eating the goat doesn't suffer, they choose something else, instead of someone, & if they hadn't spent time & energy & water & land into raising the goat(s) they would have more for themselves & their families by growing food for themselves instead of giving it to an animal then eating the animal while also still eating plants. Over 80 billion land animals, trillions of aquatic animals & trillions of insects like silk worms are killed yearly, the negative vs positive principle would then fall in the deep negative as less than 8 billion people "benefit" from the lives of trillions, but everyone would benefit if they stopped consuming & exploiting animals altogether. As well, with just cats, for the question about neuter/spaying street animals, cats kill for sport & don't have the morals & ethics humans do, & will kill dozens & dozens of birds in a day if they can, & have been a major reason for local birds to die off sometimes more than a lot of pollution & human encroachment. The cats/dogs deserve their lives not be taken, but we are responsible for them also being on the streets & existing where they shouldn't in the first place, & preventing them from breeding/reproducing while also no killing them just for existing to no fault of their own. (TNR has helped decrease cat populations as people do not want to be responsible for making sure their animals they are suppose to be looking after like children & responsible for their actions/population/etc., & the wild birds & butterflies & other animals that help the ecosystem & support it are increased as fewer & fewer cats/dogs are able to reproduce, & the cats/dogs - if not rescue-able/adoptable - are returned to the life they were having & is less stress on them so they can live out their life but not create more offspring that will keep making things worse. I know so many people throughout my life that purposefully loose their cat so they get pregnant because they want to exploit the mother & commodify their offspring; which are already so overpopulated there aren't enough people adopting, so those kittens/puppies are often abandoned, euthanized, killed. So the method of LEAST harm, is to spay/neuter the animals we as humans have introduced caused the problems in the first place that cause so much more harm to other animals/ecosystem as a whole. In addition to humans feeding feral cats/dogs, they can overpopulate because they have more than the animals they would hunt & when people stop feeding the feral cats/dogs, they turn more to the wildlife, so if they are at least spayed/neutered, they won't increase in population & the balance will be able to switch back to the natural animals that should be in the environment as the cats/dogs/etc., pass away over time. Where I use to live, TNR was illegal, so we couldn't bring in 3 toms that were making babies - 3 pregnant females of which we rescued/fostered, 1 had 7 kittens, another had 10 kittens, & the 3rd we got to a different rescue because we already had fosters, plus one of the three unneutered males trusted us & came inside & the foster program I was with normally don't take male adults but they let us foster him too, which meant one less male making offspring, but if the 2 other males were neutered, there wouldn't be any pregnant cats in the area at all. We saved 21 lives - helped 2 births of a total of 17 kittens & their mothers, one to-be mother, & the male, just from the yard we had renting the house we had for a bit, til the landlord wanted to move back in & evicted us to do so. There was one of the feral males (Greyboi we called him) that brought one of the females to us himself & meowed until we took her in. What sucks was Greyboi was too wild to be indoors, while he was okay with some pets only by myself & my roommate, he panicked & hurt himself when we tried to catch him just to take him to the vet to get his paw looked at when he was wounded in a fight - of which is also reduced when cats are neutered because they don't have the hormones making them have one less need to fight because they aren't interested in competing for females - & we were feeding him to the point he never left the yard & stopped hunting birds but he was still making babies & we couldn't do anything about it & I don't even know what happened to him after we moved - he was also 'old' for a feral cat/cat that lives exclusively outdoors, & had arthritis & other pain issues we were able to get him medication for when we fed him, & I miss him & am deeply upset/sad that I will never know what became of him, but we do know the 21 lives we rescued all have forever homes. 3 of them are my own foster fails, after my 8, now 9 year old cat started wanting friends & picked them himself & spends so much time with them) Also - there are several good vegan cat foods, where I am (canada) they don't want to allow plant-based cat food & rely on outdated & entirely inaccurate data to keep it so, so needing to order it from out of country makes the same-priced food as non-plant-based double if not triple the cost for shipping/duties/etc., & where I am in my country they purposefully make it harder. Anywhere that has animal rendering facilities as well will be heavily subsidized & encouraged above a plant-based/"synthetic" alternative which is cheaper, no one died to feed the animal, & is just as good at providing nutrition, health, quality & longevity. I saw a video of a dairy farmer proudly saying the dead male baby calves are what supply their area's dog food & to take away dairy takes away dog's food & the dogs will starve & was a totally fallacious argument plus he is paid more to commodify the male calves that are classified as 'waste product' when they are a sentient being that wanted to live & be loved by their mother. Hearing people promote "human-grade" animal foods is also more picking/choosing certain parts, while other parts get tossed or put into 'lesser' graded animal foods, creating a higher demand for breeding animals for certain parts of their body to make up for the parts thrown out/not used/not bought in volume & is the same mindset as vegetarianism; it creates more demand for more animal abuse - not less - because one is picking & choosing parts, sucking the animal dry, & killing them once they are 'useless' at just a small fraction of their life expectancy because they have been so abused no more can be taken from them except their lives, & just like their babies, their lives, autonomy & locomotion are taken from them too for no reason while folks try to justify the immoral & unethical practices with hedonism & personal pleasure above all else, self-obsession, self-victimization, fallacies like appeal to tradition, culture, nature, etc., & convenience. This whole video covers quite a lot & Acharya's answers are spot on! 💚 The link on debunking carnism is great too! :D Thank you so much!!!
Can anyone tell me ,in ingredients section of package food milk/milk solid is not written then why wrote milk/milk solid in allergic section or May contain section
As it maybe produced in the same facility where other milk products are made. So they give this info out for ppl with extreme allergic reactions can avoid.
Please make a video explaining how can a normal person (with some awarness) get all calcium, protein etc in his daily life. I am confused some say half protein of pulses goes when it is cooked, brown til>safed til etc
@@voiceofvegans Sorry, just asking to know whose life you value more? Suppose a human is tied on a track and a chicken is tied on another track, and you have the option to choose between diverting the train in either of the ways (and you have to do that anyway, because you don't have time to run and untie both of them), whom would you let die?
@Narasimha_TheSher do we have any information of the human identity? - Let’s say if the human in question is a terrorist. Or on the bird - let’s say the bird in question carries a life threatening disease? Unless i have any information i dont think i wil be able to make an informed choice. - But if such a situation arises with no info I don’t think i will take any action as long as i am sensible. But in the last moment panic - where i assume i won’t be optimally sensible and i m still forced to make a decision then i might make a decision. What that decision will be can’t be predicted with certainty as i have no information on how my ‘less than sensible’ future persona will act.
@@voiceofvegans Being against speciesism means believing that one species can't be inherently more valuable than another species. It doesn't say all lives have to be seen equally too. Now I have a very good understanding. Thanks.
@Narasimha_TheSher well this scenario is out of scope of speciesism and definitely out of scope of veganism. - Speciesism, as defined by Singer (who didn’t coin the term tho), is a prejudice in favour of interest of members of one own species and against those of members of another species. - But the scenario presented is unique as it pits the two members with conflicting interest of survival. Bro, what to do for my calcium intake
As i don't drink milk
My bones are weak
Bro milk doesn't give calcium now bcoz it's more like blood milk instead eat tofu
Put in Google or any search engine: "Plant based Calcium sources" & you will have your answers! I get mine from cruciferous vegetables
Eat oranges it is the fruit having maximum amount of calcium
Eat spinach, green veggies, almond, cashew, chia seeds, flaxseeds, sesame seeds - make a salad and eat these regularly.
Same condition bro, although my body was already weak but after adopting vegan I have became even weaker 😢
Background music is not good sir
Pls share some your fav bg music. I will use them in future.
