I feel like Quentin Tarantino and M. Night Shyamalan should not even be on this list. Quentin did one major role in “from dusk till Dawn,” (which he also wrote) and the other roles you call supporting roles he done are more of minor Stand ins, which is no different than cameos which M. Night Shyamalan usually does in his films. You need to also not count directors who make small appearances in their films.
I agree but every single actor in this list sucks at it. They're probably the reason the movies are bad, or those bad directors are the main ones giving them jobs

Jean Claude Van Damme. Seriously. His films have grossed over $1 billion worldwide. He’s an icon. Yes his bad ones are bad, but his good ones are great! If this is the standard you go by, put Al Pacino on the list, coz he’s done some CRAP! Also, anyone who doubts Van Damme’s acting chops, watch JCVD.
Van Damme is an abysmal actor irrespective of movie. He's a great action character but there's no range or depth do his acting. He's wooden and always looks like he's trying to remember his lines. Pacino has done some REALLY horrible films, non worse than Jack & Jill but he's made some amazing films and given great performances: The Godfather, Serpico, Dog Day Afternoon, ...And Justice for All. Some pretty good, Cruisin', The Devil's Advocate, Scent of a Woman and Scarface.

Maybe that's why I liked her in Disturbing Behavior. She's the girlfriend and isn't really doing a whole lot in that movie. It's 1998, she's 20, easily passes for a high school girl, and is beautiful. I was in college, that's really all I needed. She did stuff without doing to much, the role worked well for her.

Jaden Smith has been in movies since he was young... He has yet to ever act... EVER!! Lol, my brothers and I always joked (not really a joke tho) that it seems there are que cards with simple emotions off camera 😆 "Look sad" "smile/happy", "Angry"... Ive seen puppies who act better than him.
It’s hard to pick, but if I had to choose, I would have to say The Rock and Vin Diesel. Vin Diesel’s only good role is Groot from Guardians of the Galaxy, but everything else, he plays the same character over and over again. The Rock just plays himself and has a no-lose clause in his contract, making his action movies less believable.
Dwayne Johnson HAD range in his early career. Vin Diesel also did Saving Private Ryan and Find Me Guilty back in the day. Safe to say these men's acting regressed.

Almost all of these aren't actors at all. Models, athletes, pop singers, rappers, comedians, why should we expect any of them to be any good? Of the few who might be considered professional actors, Jessica Alba and Katie Holmes are never anything special, but aren't bad. Tyler Perry showed he could be very good in Gone Girl, and even Megan Fox ... well, yes she's really bad, except in Jennifer's Body she's terrific, or at least well cast.

Just had this conversation w/my wife today: Growing up in the 80s, my (in every conceivable way) weird grandma used to look after me while my mom worked. She’s got strange tastes. She always insisted the two greatest actors “on Earth” were Jean-Claude Van Damme & Steven Seagal! Still one of the most hilarious arguments I’ve ever had. Even at 7 years old, I couldn’t let it stand but then she’d just double down and to prove her point, force me to binge watch movies from both. I was never happier to see my mom than I was after one of those visits. On her wall above the TV: - Ancient photo of her Cherokee grandma - Painting of white Jesus - Photo of JCVD - A wooden African mask An anthropologist would be utterly baffled. I certainly am. 😂

Growing up in the 80s, my (in every conceivable way) weird grandma used to look after me while my mom worked. She’s got strange tastes. She always insisted the two greatest actors “on Earth” were Jean-Claude Van Damme & Steven Seagal! Still one of the most hilarious arguments I’ve ever had. Even at 7 years old, I couldn’t let it stand but then she’d just double down and to prove her point, force me to binge watch movies from both.
