Hi I really enjoyed this video teaching on strumming. Well done in small chunks and repeating strum for each. I so enjoyed it. It would have been nice to play the whole song through at the end. Stay safe and healthy.
Thanks Deb - There is a companion video for the entire play along. It took me days editing this one, and after it was done my film editor corrupted the audio. I spent another day and a half repairing that and I think the problem is the fact that this video is over 20 minutes long.
Lisa, I have watched several of your videos. My main interest in taking up the ukulele is to play instrumental toons and not to sing. Is this a good instrument for me to study or should I look to another one? Suggestions welcome. Thanks
Bob - The ukulele is awesome for that. There are famous players like Jake Shimabukuro who don't sing at all. It takes a great deal more skill to coax out those tunes. Check out my Facebook page - The Ukulele Fool where I showed my progress over 2 weeks working on a no singing piece. Good luck with that. There isn't as much guidance on youtube for just doing that - but there is Rock 101 that have many instrumental tutorials.
Love your way of teaching. You just make it so easy to understand.
Happy to hear that!
I really enjoyed your lesson, singing and strumming has been really hard for me, but after watching this video I think Im on my way to nailing it
