Love how you do the scoops before adding gold mica which you have perfected so full cover, wish I could , does the scooping make the top layer adhere better. I loved how it gave the soap a wave when cut. The vanilla speckle added another dimension, as always a great soap and video. Thank you for taking the time to record and share. Take care.
Now you know my ultimate weakness for MINT things, especially soaps. :D Guess I'll be ordering one of these when your next release comes out :D Gorgeous as usual, my dear. I just adore your soaps. :)
You are truly an inspiration! Would you mind sharing what brand your stick blender is? I can’t find one deep enough for my mixing containers. Yours looks long. Thank you!
Absolutely beautiful. Do you mind sharing your recipe for your oils, and how do you know how much lie water to use when mixing together? I'm a newbie & very passionate about this.
Thank you so much ☺️ First thing you need to do is learn how to use a soap calculator. It’s really easy and it will tell you how much water, lye and oils to use. I like this one: soapcalc.net/calc/soapcalcWP.asp You can also look up tutorials on how to use it. There is so much to learn when it comes to soap making Let me direct you to @royaltysoaps She has a beginners guide to soap making :) Start here: ua-cam.com/video/1R68zaZHgBU/v-deo.html Then: ua-cam.com/video/kESIaTZJCUk/v-deo.html And if you’re on Facebook it’s great to join a soap making group ☺️
Now the oils that you use fragrance oil or essential oil because isn't fragrance oil for like candles and stuff what kind of oil are you using because I thought it had to be essential oils?

The scooping is just for the design. So it’s not a straight line.

This is so pretty Julie!! Does the vanilla bean powder end up discoloring the soap that it's in?
No it’s not like a fragrance oil. It just gives it pretty speckles :)
You are truly an inspiration!

Now the oils that you use fragrance oil or essential oil because isn't fragrance oil for like candles and stuff what kind of oil are you using because I thought it had to be essential oils?
You can use fragrance oils as long as they are skin safe. The manufacturer will list if it’s skin safe and how much you can use.
