I love your kitchen, especially its size. The minimal touches are perfect for early in the season and the way you have incorporated the lavender ribbon to continue the flow into the kitchen is perfect. (My kitchen is VERY small). To decorate the stag for this early time I would tie a bow around his neck with the same ribbon as on your pendant lights and fill the bowl with individually wrapped candy in purple and gold. See your in the morning for some Hot Chocolate.🌲

I love how you are carrying the gold deer throughout every space you decorate. I would use a mixture of ball ornaments and sparkly pine cones in the bowl on your island.
I live for the 12 days of Christmas videos! I am adding a new tree to another this year. In the stag bowl, I would add a wide Christmas scented candle, garland hanging from base of candle dripping over stag. Thank you for your videos!
It's simple, yet elegant. But you can instantly tell it's Christmas when you look into the kitchen. I'm loving the purple this year. I may have to give that a try next year. I might put some dried apple, orange and lemon slices and some nuts in the bowl. I made some about 3 years ago and use it every year. But I'm thinking it might be time for a new batch. It makes my house smell soooooo good!

I think you are so smart to make the festive decor in your kitchen paired down, especially around the stove. So many people fuss about having Christmas decor up before Thanksgiving. I say do whatever works for you! I’ve never understood why you can’t have both... a Thanksgiving table dressed for Atumnal gratitude and Christmas touches everywhere for the entire holiday season. That said, perhaps your stag could act as a cornucopia of fruit and/or veggies until Thanksgiving and then swap it out for some greenery and a few ornaments mirroring the ornaments on the tree and perhaps add a purple bow around his neck with some lovely tendrils hanging down to tie everything from the front door to the kitchen together.
Love a simply declarative kitchen - in the stag bowl I would add some twinkly lights and fake snow for an ambient glow.. but I’d switch it out for a party and use it as a festive candy bowl
I’m team light cabinets because they open up a space for me.
I am definitely adding the bells and cutting boards behind my cook top. Love it!!

I've got a thing for reindeer too😊. I'd hang a beautiful bow around his neck and fill the bowl with ornaments and picks. Love the simplicity, very stylish. The bells are stunning!

I love that gold deer bowl! It's so majestic! I would get some of those pretty wrapped chocolate candies that look like ornaments at Tuesday Mornings or somewhere for the bowl. And that's why I'm a bit chubby...🙈😁 I love the minimal, clean but festive look in the kitchen.🎄❤️🎁
I am the same way with clutter. So I really appreciate keeping the countertops clutter free and just incorporating a few things. I think I would probably add packaged treats in the stag. Maybe small packages of holiday cookies and/or candy. I like that ribbon so much, I would probably use some to create a large overflowing bow or “something” to put in there.

Love the kitchen ideas. Not to over crowded. Maybe in the bowl a little greenery with some candies or small ornaments. A touch of lavender ribbon might be nice as well. Really like the ideas behind on the counter. Looking forward to cocktails.

Love the early holiday styling of your kitchen. . My idea for the deer would be to add a purple ribbon around his neck with some mini bells to pull from the stove area. Then add some mini purple and gold ornaments on a stick mixing in the greenery with fairy lights.
For the stag, I would add a floral arrangement with fresh greens, purple mums/ berries to match the ribbon you used to hang the mistletoe, some bittersweet, pine cones and eucalyptus.

Looks great, as usual. On the deer bowls, I would put walnuts. I love the simple decor in the kitchen area so you’re able prep, cook and eat in it without having to move things around.
I would use fall colored candy or candy in wrapping that matches your ribbon. Hershey kisses in fall colors and they used to have a dark chocolate kiss wrapped in purple foil. I remember my grandmother and other older family members using colorful candy or food for decor in glass containers and bowls in their living rooms when I was little. We were not allowed to eat it 😊
You could add some beautiful florals to the greenery you have in the bowl.
I love the subtle decor leading up to the holidays, your style zones are a great idea. And I would probably incorporate that beautiful ribbon you have used around your home for the neck of the stag and since Im old school we loved adding nuts to stockings, so I would do a play on deers loving acorns, and add nuts to the bowl and a ribbon wrapped nutcracker underneath on the tray. 🌰🌰🌰🦌😊
I always add seasonal flowers and greenery to bowls for a centerpiece .
I love it. I have to agree with possibly adding scented pinecones to the stag. I love the fresh greenery idea as well.
Add some Lindor chocolate truffles along with the greenery, the Suttleness is very elegant
I would add battery operated, with remote control, tealight candles to the bottom of the bowl. Then add a few glitter berry stems, gold glitter bay leaves or snowy cedar floral picks. For the stages neck a white feather and rhinestone pick or small piece of white pampas grass.
I really like the minimal kitchen decor. I would put some little vintage Christmas balls in the stag bowl. I really like to incorporate vintage decor in my decorating. Thanks for the great tips!
The touches of Christmas in your kitchen are refreshing to see I can’t wait until we get closer to Christmas and all the other ideas you have. Regarding the stag, I would put a small soft cedar candle ring or other soft draping greenery around the horns and dress it up with twinkle fairy lights around the horns. In the bowl, I would put chocolates wrapped in individual gold wrappers

Hello, I really enjoy your decorations style. For your bowl put fake snow and drape it coming out the bowl. Then place tree ornaments on top of the snow in your colour theme I add a large wreath with lights to my front door. I add festive pics to my vase and I change family pictures on the wall to family Christmas pictures from the year before. Have a great day

I love your decor. My suggestion: add 'hidden' elves or angels. I also like nativity settings. I have them all around my home (various sizes) as a reminder of the reason for the season.

I was super excited when I saw the title "Kitchen decorating". Its a small space and I needed some fresh Ideas. Love the idea of adding mistletoe to the light fixtures and using the bottle brush trees. For the bowl maybe using some xmas Ornaments or battery operated Pinecones candles.

O my! yessss you have done it again this year as always. Mel I just love the purple it was my mom's favorite color. This is just elegant in every way and more. Those pillows are.....breathtaking and so elegant.
I would add some nuts in the bowl or some holiday candy the are purple in colors.
You could add candied peppermints into the bowl which gives the look of candy cane.
I think id maybe put a small floral arrangement in the bowl or maybe some ornaments from the tree and some of the ribbon to pull the two areas together. I’m sure whatever you decide will be perfect.
Fill the stag bowl with Lindt white chocolate truffles. They're individually wrapped and very pretty to display.

I would incorporate some poinsettias white preferably, or maybe some artificial cranberries just to give them pop of color. Maybe frosted elephant ears. I’d also try Norfolk Pine picks or garland to incorporate in the kitchen
Beautifully done! Love the pendent lights. I saw some mini chocolate cocoa bombs that look just like small Christmas tree ornaments that may go nice for the stag bowl. Also theme colored ribbon with a small bell to hang around him. 😊

Good Sunday morning, Melonie! I use a minimum of decor pieces in the kitchen that take up prep space. My suggestion for filling the reindeer bowl is the use of fruits & nuts. Fruits like small oranges, fragrant apples, walnuts, pecans & raisins on the vine, remind me of the treats my mother adorned her bowls with during this time of year. And Melonie, I love, love, love the bow pillow! TYFS!

I love the glass vase, and the simplicity of the decor in the kitchen, yet still very festive. I would add mints (wrapped in purple ofc) or fruit/nuts to the bowl. I can’t wait to see what you’re going to do as the holidays get closer.

Thanks for the wonderful video. For styling the stag you could use the gray for chips and the bowl for some dip. Dips usually don’t have much color so it should not distract from the beauty of the piece.

I have overloaded my counter space before only to find I have to move things constantly. I have learned less can be more sometimes! I would add gourmet candies to the bowl.

I would have added some peppermints to the bowl for a pop of red. Also, Christmas is my favorite, so I start my interior space decorating in October.
I would add cranberries on top of the greenery, or a mini poinsettia and attach a pop of red around the stags neck

I will use fresh fruit oranges. Lemonds,and nuts surrounded by fresh greenery or Frank fake Garland just to give it that beautiful appeal, and I'll even stick a pomegranate in there not split open. But in his natural colors, just a solid hold.Has to give it that holiday appeal. Fill with cinnamon sticks and some clothes stuck in for the smell.
