- I've seen a few versions of this clip on UA-cam. One was quite bad quality, another wasn't even in English (no good to me at least). So I decided to upload a HD version of this cutscene from Tomb Raider: Underworld, the latest addition to the Tomb Raider series of games.
In this cutscene, Lara pays Natla a second visit, with the intentions of forcing her to reveal the location of Avalon/Hellheim, and then vanquishing her once and for all using the power of Thor's Hammer (Mjolnir).

Back when Lara Croft was a freak of nature.
An overpowered and determined woman who would do anything to get what she wanted, borderline megalomaniac, this was the true Croft.
1:24 that scream IIIII love it.
I loved this version of her sweet kind when doing business or just being cheeky with her allies but when pissed or angry or even vengeful she is a force to be reckoned with
I love Lara's line: "If...No when you step out of line, you'll get it!" Very badass
Do you know how much self control it took her to not fuck Natla's shit up right then?
She knew she needed Natla to help her. Which is why she warned her that WHEN she was no longer needed...she'd kill her.
But Natla was in control the whole time. Things would have gone to plan were it not for Amanda switching sides.
This timeline/storyline was the best one that Tomb Raider created. I like the new trilogy, but this is such a good series

Oh my god, I love when Lara says "You can die too!!". She has got so much character when she's angry, haha. Thanks for posting this CutScene. It's my favourite one! Now I can watch it over and over again! lol :D

Natla was my favorite villain, and knowing she was voiced by grey delisle the one who voiced azula i was thrilled.

Nah, technically in TR1 she didn't "have" them at all. If you look at her back carefully, it's really just one of the Atlantean flying creatures attached to her back. It's only in Anniversary that they made the wings an actual part of her body.
Now imagine if queen Keeley Hawes returns for the next game, now the reboot trilogy is (finally) over.

It'll have a quote-unquote "unified" version of her. Ain't really merging anything because she's mostly the same hobbling, breathless teen using U.S. terms that don't fit in with her being BRITISH finding "ancient cookbook recipe lookin' things or finding actual treasure just to put it back. I'm lucky I'm able to play the classic remasters so I could get the feel for myself of what makes Lara Croft LARA CROFT. I'm still pissed that I gotta see Crystal Dynamics's snobby logo plastered on the opening credits when I have to load in because they hate everything that Lara Croft used to be. I can't wait for another company that's faithful to the original Tomb Raider series to step in. Core Design ran like hell only for Crystal Dynamics to drive off the rails into lava 28 times over.
Imo, the only nice thing about it was Legend and Underworld, but I mean.. You'd think after the closure she got in that series, that she'd be ... NOT aged down and focused more on the parents. First it was the mother, then it was the father in the survivor trilogy.. ..Oh well, at least we had a section in both Core Design's and Crystal Dynamics's series where we can play as a literal kid version of Lara.. That was kinda cool, I guess..? Not sure what the point was, but that's the only consistent thing in Core's and Crystal's series.

I love how vindictive and borderline evil Lara was in the original games.
Love how some classic characters returned in the Legend timeline. A reboot with returning characters is always a good reboot
God, I just wish Ascension and other Legend timeline games had been released just so we could have had more of Keeley!

My guess is that the reboot trilogy is part of the plan to put some distance between LAU trilogy and after they're done with Marvel IP's they will go back to Tomb Raider and re-make the LAU trilogy but retcon most of it to make sure it fits the reboot trilogy.

This also reminds me of Raziel and Kain's meeting in William's Chapel during Soul Reaver 2. They need each other's help, yet they are at odds with one another in their desires. The temptation to kill Kain (Natla in this case) is greatly pressuring Raziel (Lara in this case) but he resists the urge at the last moment, Kain (Natla in this case) flinching nearly scared all the while.

The mimic art of the characters is realy fantastic, for example Natla from 1:28 on. That's great work!
Its was confirmed a while back that there will be a series of Tomb Raider games coming revolving atound the origin...so expect more sequels to the reboot TR. And one of those sequels is already in development.

The doppelganger looks at Natla for a split second, she's only following Natla's commands (and Natla wanted to dispose of Amanda)

I think that Amanda's and Doppelhoe's appearance made Lara have doubts on killing Natla, she deserves it, but Lara still is human despite her life and craving to find her mother, if they hadn't come Lara would have easily killed Lara and then go on a rampage and kill Amanda and Doppeltramp.

@JoshLanzer what other games did amanda appear in cause i played underworld,anniversary,legend ,angel of darkness,tomb raider IV and it was in none of em.. i suspect it was in legend cause i played it way too long ago and i might not be remembering what happened in it right, so could u tell me?

What does it bring to watch a video in HD? It's then not fluent anymore! 480 p is perfect!
@Espio360 i would agree like tht its a little cliche but its good...unlike the originals which were full of one liners and pretty cheesy....tho the voice acting i thought provided by keely and whoever does natla is pretty good....i think you can really see this as a film :)
Was this game like a collab with marvel? Idk but they keep mentioning Odin and Thor and the hammer.
MCU's Thor was based off real Norse Mythology, and so does this one
