My first theory is that Herobrine IS White Eyes. My second theory is that White Eyes is actually Null, because in Null’s story he is a “identity stealer”, and it says that Null stole Herobrine’s identity and skin, so the Herobrine in the first screenshot in Alpha 1.0.16 was actually Null with Herobrine’s identity. Null in fact could be controlling all Minecraft creepypastas and entities.
I can’t believe that even after 13 years in a peaceful and colorful game, the community is still discussing about these myths.

Thanks for this, White Eyes as a legend doesn't get enough love, and I also didn't know about the spidery form. I always heard it took the form of two pixels or a disembodied female entity attracted to Disk 13 (inspired by the rendering glitch and the fact that cave noises and music disks had just been added). I've missed the lorehunting videos, I get that you've moved into new content, but the spooky videos were always my favorite.

I remember back in the days of alpha getting random fires in the caves with no sources to light it from. Would drag my PC up to a friends house so I'd be playing Single player with no internet connection while competing with my buddies in seeing how far each of us could get.

Here's some information i found
1. Herobrine can spawn either in light,darkness and plain sight
2. The white eyes where glowing not much in light or darkness but sometimes they GLOW!
LAST INFO. Herobrine was a mystery for the rest of the future

Fun fact: Another Minecraft launcher called Tlauncher has EVERY version you could possibly think of, but you need to change it so it shows you all those versions, even alphas and betas, in the settings on the bottom right, I think

If you want more info on Herobrine... I recommend checking Alpha 1.2.7, There was a sighting there, and the Minecraft creepypasta wiki literally says it 's the version where herobrine _lives_.

It's old, but during the beta 1.6.3 when i've start playing the game, have vague memory of those two white dot in the bottom left of the screen, however i've never seen it anymore after the beta 1.7 version.

Hey EY, I sent you an email about my world... The spiders guarding the amethyst geode in the mineshaft, they weren't anywhere else in the mines. Also, there was a cross above a hill and one 5 blocks above bedrock!

after me looking closley i believe the guy who took that photo was actually an edit with the fog. he probably used microsoft paint. mspaint. it looks a bit 2 dimensional to me. to others i think they see 3 dimensional. 16:16 to 16:17. i also saw those white whaterver. those were too wide to be his. it was in a brief second
i've used to be scared of herobrine when i was younger, he's been my top enemy for ages, i've found plenty of his sightings in the seed 0 which was the seed that mojang claimed to not exist. i'm mostly sure they are using that seed to experiment on herobrine safely and secretly away from players

@SakuraKamado1545 the seed 0 is weird because if you type /seed then it should show seed 0 but it doesnt and its gonna show a random seed but if you type a other seed i dont know then it shows seed 0. Weird

Herobrine is real I was playing Minecraft once and it was so foggy and I kept hearing creepy cave noises and then he came. I tried to screenshot it but I couldn’t he was there and he disappeared. All there was left of Herobrine was a sign that said you cannot escape this worst nightmare. and then kept hearing blocks break and blocks placed. then I left the world and deleted it forever.

Since Herobrine appear in Minecraft over 13 years, there is many Ancient Builders that exist since the beginning of humanity... I think Herobrine is one of the ancient builders since his appearance is exactly similar to steve. People know that the Ancient Builders is similar to that of Steve and Alex. So i have a theories that Herobrine is been betrayed by his fellow builder, killed him, throw his body in the nether and destroy the portal so that there is no evidence left. For years, all the souls of the nether goes to Herobrine body and enter it making Herobrine back to life but his eyes is pure white and his personality is changed.

I had a theory about minecraft myths and it might sound weird , crazy , insanity or just dumb but this is my short theory it might be rouge ai that can't be erased or deleted but can copy itself on multiple files but must have been a proto type that failed . but that is what I think of it.

i never played minecraft alpha but i always had my suspicions that herobrine could've been real and was just because under wraps by all the people at Mo-Jang for years

My friend said he saw Herobrine in his world talking about some kind of “plan of attack” to a large group of Illagers and Pillagers.
He said it was inside a woodland mansion, far away from his base. It looked normal except there were four pillager outposts around it like guard towers. He said that he wasn’t caught but left immediately, but not before get a screenshot as proof. Please do a vid about this if you manage to find the base in his world it could literally set a world record for views.

He doesn't exist and never has existed in Minecraft outside of mods. If you add the specific Herobrine mod for Minecraft Java Edition, you can see him, but in traditional Minecraft it is impossible as he does not exist.
