Thanks for the video. I recently made the same bike rack for my 29 inch wheeled mountain bikes. I had to make the upright strut 14 1/2 inches long instead of the 12 1/2 like the bottom. This way, the wheel will go further ahead in the rack and just snugs up with the top.
Great idea. Had to adjust a couple measurements because we have one bike with a really large tire but that was easy & we had plenty of pvc left over to make that happen. Spray painted it & it looks like a nice bike rack. So light & easy to move in when not needed in the truck! Thanks, this is great
Hi Erick, yes that's what I do. Connect one hook of the takedown to the inside of the bed and run the other end along the backside of the gooseneck then connect it to the opposite side of the bed and ratchet it tightly so the bike does not move. I hope this explanation helps. Thanks, Bob
Hi LV, Great question. I just walked out to my truck and measured the width of the bike rake and it measures 45 inches wide. Hope this helps and have fun !!! Thanks for watching

Great thank you Paul for your feed back. It looks l'll be making a bigger rack as well. My wife bought an e-bike with fat tires on it.
So just one at 14.5" and leave the other one at 12.5"? I have a 29 inch wheel as well.
Very well done. You took the time to give measurements, assembly and gluing. Thank you for your hard work.
Thank you George for the feed back. I'm glad you liked the video.

Thank you sir !!!!
Does it hold a 2.8 tire 29er?
I believe it does
QUICK QUESTION: How can I manage to take this bike rack on the freeway for hours? Do I just tie the tire down?
