Sir I'm one of rare kids you discussed at 30th min :) .. Alhamdulillah I chose the right path at Age of 21 after many struggles and attempts. Kabhi kabhi dagmaga jaty hain but I try our best. This all can be done by My Parents Efforts and Youth Club.
I'm also trying to be better inn shaa Allah

I was a kid when I realized the things you are talking about now. I am very happy that you guys have been blessed with realization and sharing it with the current youth for guidance. I have been practising my namaz since my childhood. If I analyze the last 10 years' namaz of my life, I never leave it. You were talking about self-realization. I will say it depends on your parents and Allah's blessing. I will say if you do a deep analysis and see the hadees. You will understand that halal food, halal relations, and so many basic factors communicated by our prophet are very important to be on this path. My parents never earn haram. My father is a practised person. He never teaches us to earn more and more. He always teaches us to give, forgive and be humble.
Just take an example of halal relation, during the hadees collection process of prophet Mohammad's time, there were certain conditions to share the hades.
1. A person should know about their parents
2. A person should not be charged with any criminal record.
Every single sunnah has a huge and long-term impact on your life. For example, It is stated that namaz lets you be far away from shamelessness and bad deeds. It is practically true. You will not realize it starts changing you, but the condition is that you should pray with this intention that you are praying for Allah, not for showoff.
