I needed to hear this today. I was just starting down a dark road of vengeance yesterday towards someone that hurt me VERY badly. I need to use my time and energies to move forward and away from them instead of competing with their darkness.

I was 60 before I realized I had been carrying my mother's karma my whole life while she has done one stupid thing after another. She has not suffered any consequences because I suffered them for her as she repeatedly mocked me as a fool. I stepped away from her six months ago and I hear things have not been so easy for her but the best way to help her is let her have her karmic debts balance before she moves back into the light. The "family" is quite upset but I don't have enough time left in my own life to appease them any longer.

I haven’t even had time to see my family or friends of many years and my closest friend was hospitalised in December 2021 aswell…I went down to stay with her for a while …my true friend wasn’t rude to me not in all those years lol…she’s doing g great now most are…it’s been a time of it…1st July 2024 . I have my own darkness demons and karma to deal cope fight with correct and overcome yet I tried holding and taking in his only to be neglected rejected abandoned use misused mistreated disrespected then left and thrown out with the garbage!!!! Man this is so true, I have been dealing with this today....I asked my oldest daughter to not try and include her sister in any activities with father side of family. She has autism and that side has never truly accepted her and have left her out of so many things over the years. Father passed in 2015 and my oldest took it upon herself to fill in and try to facilitate holidays and such. I asked her not to but she had to learn for herself. I ask only for simple forgiveness on this for in sharing my 2nd daughter pain with her I hurt her in the process. I had 3 kids by the same man and 2 of the 3 has autism. My ex and his family blamed me, shunned the 2 and gave sole attention to the eldest. Today is my ex ma in law bday and my 2nd daughter tried calling but gma didnt pick up. I do not want to give the past 1 second more of energy than it deserves for I know what these people have in store for them. Yeshua I ask for forgiveness, grant me the ability to not just forgive but let go of any and all hidden resentment to each member who when hurt my child, hurt me. Let there be reconciliation amongst my ex mom in law and her side. Please heal these wounds. Thank you for this popping up today.
Personally God told me this yesterday, and i agree it is important when to say no. I experienced what its like and its like a tick getting on you or a snake biting you. However, God will send you where youre needed to break such curses as we are called to deal with principalities and break strongholds. To whit, if you were called to do so take heart youre in Gods presence, if not beware.
It is not true that every time someone is facing difficulties it's because they did something to deserve it. In fact there is already enough selfishness in terms of people not ever helping another, to go around. People don't need more excuses to not help another. I'm not saying help the wrong person, like an abusive partner. I'm talking about how people don't care about others enough.
There is a waste difference between helping others or constantly taking the natural consequences of their behavior away from them and put them on our shoulders. If you haven't fully grasped this yet, keep on listening. To your own benefit.

We chosen ones do need to stop calling people's choices "mistakes". A mistake is an innocent occurrence that doesn't involve any forethought, and certainly doesn't have any life-altering consequences.

I agree with this but to a certain extent. Life is giving me a hard time right now, but it’s not because I’m paying back for it through karma. From a Christian point of view, the devil is going hard at me to break my faith in God and abandon Him. The more I turn to God, the stronger I stand as Christian, the more the devil tries to break me and destroy my faith. But I refuse to give in. I’m a good person… genuine, trustworthy, positive and upbeat most of the time, and I uplift others and offer a healing essence towards others. So if that’s how I’ve been living my life, how can all the bad things happening to me be a result of me being an awful person?
I just recently watched a UA-cam “shorts” video and something Denzel Washington said resonated with me. He said that if someone’s life is amazing and they’re just waltzing through it with ease, then they’re doing something wrong. The devil isn’t going to try break that person if they’re already a child of satan. The devil would say, “oh no, leave that person alone, he’s my favorite”…. Yeah, I agree. Makes sense.

Suffering is a must for people. Even my own children must suffer for their actions. I am not going to help them, except if I am asked for help. By helping others we take the opportunity to learn and grow away from them.

The thing is you take on other people's issues unconsciously which has been the thing that affected those of us who are chosen this is what has caused such imbalance in this world but how could you put things in their rightful place when we didn't know? The Karmic families that we chose to be born into know that we are the chosen of that bloodline and have literally tried to karma swap to escape doing the work. Now everyone has to do the work
This is all excellent divine wisdom which is currently consolidating many of the ideas that I have been practising for a few years now. I am learning / developing spiritually all the time, gradually casting aside any negative attitudes I have had - but at the same time also becoming more aware of those people and situations which are emotionally draining. If a person chooses drugs and sinful living and then loses their jobs, becomes homeless, cannot feed their family, are we to allow them to live in streets, starve, die...? Are we disrupting the reap what you sow balance? Are we taking away God's ability to work in their life by giving to the poor that have made the personal choices to neglect themselves and their families? When I think of this I think of the prodigal son. After squandering his inheritance and was completely destitute he came home and admitted his error. He repented of his sin aaand then his father received him back. His father didn't go out searching for his son to save him. His son had to go through to rock bottom and repent. Are we wrong in helping the poor of this world, when we feed and house them using rental and mortgage assistance programs? Are we denying them the the impact that God can have in their life by "cushioning their landing" and not letting them come to "the end of themselves" where God can begin to shape their character and create positive change for their future life here on earth and then in heaven? Again I ask, Where is the line drawn? Are some deserving of "help" and some not? God says if we ask, we shall receive. I'm asking today. God please show me the Way. 🙏🏻🏠🍞🕊

Needed to hear this one because I took on some karma that was due to my cousin who lied about what actually happened to him when he cheated on his girlfriend with his side chick and gave him a job since he got her pregnant 🤰 and has a baby now but I should’ve just been blocked him back when I first spotted those red flags 🚩

There was a time many years ago when I believed in Karma and practised Nichiren Daishonen Buddhism, but like many other religions we are told that we are created in the image of God but are punished if we are not good. Karma has the same effect, I believe it's a trap to live in fear like the heaven and hell trap. We are divine beings, God/creator/source created us with free will and to experience all that is. If we are limited to only doing good, how can we recognize evil? That was 20 years ago and today as a Healer, I know that I am a Divine Being, that I have free will and that as Soul; I create my reality through this Avatar we call human being. I would suggest to ask ourselves those questions. God does not want to punish us, and Karma is a form of it because we are constantly fearing doing something wrong and how it will affect us. I just wanted to add my experience to this subject and I respect all views, beliefs and religions.

After getting the health lab report from my doctor and seeing my health decline, I have learned to say no to her. She doesn't like it. But I must do right by me. C

The term karma comes from ancient Egyptian culture of the Pharaus. Though pre Buddism priests were known to travel to Egypt.
Jesus was Jewish. hence "His people", also why he focused on Jewish people as it was prophetically announced by Ezekiel and Isaiah. He helped those who were not due to their greater faiths.

When the people bowed before a tall man named Abraham and worshipped him as a God, they went into false God worship. Therefore the Pharau had to give them what they demanded, which is slavery. Surely worshipping a false God is slavery. Those that kept the laws of Sun God Ra were not ju and they remained free. Simply by rejecting the commandments one becomes a ju. Justice, jurisdiction, jury, juvenile, judge, all mean commandmentless or lawless.

This traditional definition of Karma is based on the belief in linear time within a religious ideology (the moral standards where anything amoral requires judgment and retribution, which is only possible if reality is composed of separate things). It believes that reality is linearly changing rather than timeless. In a timeless reality, you do not have "cause and effect". "Cause and effect" is only a perception within the experience of linear time.
The notion that your future experience is the universe responding to your moral actions and thoughts is based on the belief in separation. It assumes you are separate from the universe, similar to the notion of humans vs gods. The alternative perspective says the universe is the creation of your consciousness, and that is why your thoughts and actions affect your experience. When you are unaware that your thoughts and actions create your reality/experience, the logical ego mind tries to understand this through the belief in separation.
This slightly nuanced view differs because the traditional belief says "something is happening to me, and I am either the victim or benefactor, because of my thoughts and actions" vs. "I am the creator of all my experiences, both preferred and not preferred, through my thoughts and actions". It is the idea of "what you put out is what you get back" or "love others as you would love yourself". Both of these sayings are about your thoughts and actions being reflected back to you in your reality. The primary distinction is that in one world-view, the individual is indirectly in control of their experiences, while the other is directly in control of their experiences.
This difference in perspective is primarily why the idea of "Karma" differs. When one believes they are not directly in control of their reality, then Karma is about cause and effect. When one believes they are directly in control, whether consciously or not, then Karma is about reflecting who they represent through their thoughts and actions in the world around them, rather than the world waiting to punish or reward.
What you need to know is, to connect to your higher self. Then you will know when to say yes or no. You may refuse to help, then creat karma on your side not to be helped

Of course, you can help her but be prepared to receive negative karma for doing so. It's not about being selfish it's about not taking on other people's burdens and what happens if you do. Remember, you have free will.

What about intrusive thoughts or someone who has been raised around bad things? I feel like some people get a head start with this stuff over others, some of us had terrible family and peers so we have reflected them time to time and hurt someone because it was “normal” to you..

What is meant by taking on someone's karma? Suppose we are helping someone during difficult times, is that compassion or taking on someone's karma? And if you have done an action with no negative intent but had harmed someone, is that bad karma?
