One had a blue uniform and the other had a red uniform. They called themselves Superman Red and Superman Blue. That's the direction I think the show is heading towards

Jordan from Seasons 1, 2 & 3 was basically like Kid Gohan from the Saiyan, Frieza & Garlic Jr. Sagas. Season 4 Jordan was also like Future Trunks from History of Trunks when he though he could square up against the Androids after turning Super Saiyan, but failed. When Jon got his powers in Season 4, due to his rage at Jordan and grief, he was a mix of Gohan during the Cell Saga when he finally became a Super Saiyan when Goku was training him, and Kid Trunks when Vegeta was training him during the Pre-Buu Saga. Like I said before, Clark was basically Goku this episode.

Great training for the brothers to try and work together against their Dad as a teamwork exercise. The smile from Clark shows that he sees the potential in his sons to one day be the new Protectors of Earth if Clark plans on retiring as Superman and when Jon & Jordan work together. I don't think I surpassed my father. My father like us all ages and gets old. He was formed by different eduction, and situations around him. He grew up at the end of the depression. At a time when most of the people around him were struggling. Yet his parents were able to raise six kids with only on parent working. The core of my father is he was there for me when I needed him. And I was with him on his last breath. Was he perfect? No. I do some things better than him. But he did stuff better than me. It's not a contest. We're all human.

That's kind of a cool concept actually. Superman trained alone and the only real 'super' fighting experience he got was in the field. No sparring matches, no testing moves against a powerful opponent. With a kryptonian brother on your level you can actually train on your own level, have a sparring partner that can actually match you and challenge you to improve further. With that plus Clark's own guidance and ideals you truly could become something even greater.
WB was gonna pull the plug on s4 to end all cw shows but Gunn assured the fans they're not gonna walk away disappointed.. S4 happened because of gunn..
I like how they did the Superman Resurrection story. He doesn't just die and come back stronger. He died and needed a heart transplant to be saved. Said transplant made him significantly weaker.
Here's the thing, both his sons have powers, but each has a different contribution. Jonathan is more talented with his powers than Jordan. He got them all at once and almost instantly had full control over them faster than Jordan did. Jordan however, has more experience since he's been in his fair share of battles since he got his powers. Tal roh, bizzaro Jonathan, bizzaro Lana, and a few other bad guys.

Yes, it’s a different universe. Tom Welling Superman was over a decade ago. This show is a different continuity, but it does use some of the same sets and locations for Smallvill.
My wish is that in the finale Tal comes flying back through the portal, smashes into Doomsday full noise and Supes delivers the knockout blow and this shows the boys why it's good brothers work together. (Still gutted about Bizarro)
I was hoping that Tal would sacrifice himself and give his heart to Clark. It would restore Clark back to his full power and potential, while completing Tal’s story and redeeming him in the process.

Please, CW, James Gunn's Superman can exist alongside Superman and Lois. A somewhat arbitrary rule to not have both versions on simultaneously feels like a decision pulled out of thin air. I'm thankful for this show's writers, cast and crew. They got to go out the way they wanted. This show will forever be an incredible source and slice of Superman lore.
It doesn't have anything to do with the movie and all to do with ratings. Between the first and second season they lost 1 million in average viewer numbers and its been going down to now their episodes have less than 500.000 viewers. Its a matter of not wanting to throw money into something that very few people are bothering to watch.
Superman and Lois is the best Superman adaptation ever made in this world. I am truly grateful for everything they did for this show. I would pay anything for more seasons. Truly my favourite show of all time babyyyyyy. 😊
This being the final season doesn’t have to do with the movie coming out in the summer. It has to do with the new majority owners of the network, Nexstar. They pretty much scrapped all scripted shows with the exception of All American as of now. New owners see the current programming as a loss since the target demographic prefer streaming services so they’re shifting focus to older viewers and will focus on sports programming.

I feel a twist in this Superman series like Star Wars-I hope the Son's do not split and one be in the phantom Zone. Maybe joe-el brother was Zod. I like the writing and every one does a great job. Maybe in the series they might have episode Secrets life Superman lore from his plant.

I haven't seen the show, but I'm liking some of these scenes with the boys. At least from what I've seen they aren't all edgy teens flirting with being a villain or anything like that, it's wholesome, which is a nice change.
