Just bought my 2022 Maverick Trail DPS 1000 today, there is no Eco mode on it anymore 😕 A little disappointed, it looked like a good feature

hey i got a question. Does the Maverick Trial Dps with the 1000cc engine have a locking rear diff? I know the front diff is lockable but i don't know if the rear diff is lockable, or if its an open differential.

Usually on ATVs and UTVs of all makes, the rear diffs are always permanently locked. When a unit has something like “turf mode” the rear diff can be unlocked. On Can Ams the front diff is an auto locking diff. It’s supposed to sense when one wheel is spinning and engage itself. In my opinion this is Can Am’s draw back. So many out there own Can ams and love them and have never had traction issues with them. But I have seen the odd time where a can am wasn’t getting over obstacles like it should because of the front diff not locking up at the right time. Hope this answers you question. 😃

The situations you're referring to may not have had the QE Visco. I have two Outlanders with QE and no problems! The basic trim levels, for at least some units, don't have QE so you'll want to check......

They had an unlockable diff until 2021.
21 and on no longer have that option.
