This is one of my favourite entries so far The world outside of the Nest Egg is just as magical and intriguing. I also really love the character designs, especially the candle and most recent victim. And a train whisking away its poor unsuspecting passengers is probably hard to lock up in a vault.
@@lilysillustration In my opinion and with no spoilers, seasons 1-3 are great, but the fourth season's threat resolution is lackluster and anticlimactic. I hope you enjoy the show, which is filled with happy and in no way traumatic memories. 😅🤫
Oh i love this one! The design of the conductor, the different styles and aesthetics going hand in hand with each other, a bit of fantasy and also a bit of old-tech or maybe even futuristic design if the column stays like that. Being so integrated into the world, but also being isolated as a mystery at night is a really neat theme for the station and the fact that enough info is revealed to give it contextual foundation, but not too much so people are still able to project their own theories into the place and character makes it even more fun, that was really neat
its very Ghibli-esqu, the station and the nest egg being "hidden" in a more human world. Only being used by those who exist within or know of this fantastical world, so i think the somewhat futuristic network map makes an interesting contrast
The conductor is such a hunk lol. I really love the extra effort you put into this by animating the security footage and making little pixel art sprites for each victim. Always such a pleasure to see your work.
I like how they dont put out a hit against the mysterious people but instead put up posters asking if they have seen them. I mean ik its like of course they woulddo that but i like the detail
Masterful. Mysterious, we get another good glimpse into its world, its aspects, infrastructure and characters, as well as how the Nest Egg goes about its mission. Definitely has a fantastical whimsy while maintaining the enigmatic and darker nature of stuff like the SCP foundation. Would love to tour your world, if I wouldn’t get eaten by a train or demon of some kind
If it drains them, turn them into stone. Idea i heard the spirit train is special and really powerful and hates evil and understands true right vs wrong maybe ask it for help.
You know, I really enjoy how the world unravel itself snipet by snipet, one entry at a time, sometime huge, sometime mundane, with our imagination to fill in the blanks. From an other illustrator that also coincidentally have to draw some trams right now, I wish you a happy halloween.

What if they aren’t missing? What if the reason nobody reports them being gone is because people know exactly where they are. They’re dead. The funerary rights were carried out. They are in the ground. Drifting on the breeze. Feeding deep roots. In the bellies of venerated beasts. Floating out to see. For whatever reason, perhaps due to some gift of the Stations, the Conductor has simply caught a glimpse of what remains of the dead waiting at the platform for the vehicle that takes them on to their next destination
CONDUCTOR! I thought this would be a lovely ride amongst the clouds like the herald's do!! But I never thought that the service might have such a SPOOKY case of passenger's getting eaten up ALL ALONE! I just hope I won't be the next victim 😭 ( that aside, OMG I love this concept as an horror artist & for the spooky month, it's amazing😮) (Srsly The Nest Egg NEEDS it own animated show, and I am SO ready to be a part of it)
OMGGG I LOVE THIS SO MUCH! a train that changes its appearance by absorbing people!!???! And i LOOOOVE the kdea of a Tempest Teapot?! This video alone has convinced me of the dread of this train-- and I know that you said the teapot would contain it, yet the train seems like such an unknown force of dread to me that I can easily imagine it bursting out of a teapot which is a freaking awesome visual!!!! I LOVE YOUR CREATIVITY!!!! ( Of course, I don't want to mess with your ideas for the world, but that's just what I imagined happening) watching this on Halloween night after everyone else has gone to bed IS THE BEST!!!!!🎉🎉🎉🎉 🎃 🎃 🎃 🎃 🎃 🎃
I love the design you made for the column-maps! They’re gorgeous, like a series of constellations laid over one another. They’d make a sick tattoo sleeve!
People living in this world are some courageous folk. To use a vehicle nobody knows where it came from... It feels like the mystery train carriage delivers passangers to another world as a link between realms. But it could also be a one-way taxi for those with suicidal thoughts. It is clear that the victims knew about the carriage before it appeared. It is rather peculiar that the conductor does not consider this carriage as part of the station. If the station appeared on its own, then it means that it is an entity and it arrived from another place. There is no guarantee that this manager knows everything about the station and what is truly a part of it. Maybe he started working there sometime in the past when the station came to his world and has never seen the spirit carriage before, yet it has always been part of the station. Another interesting aspect about this story is not the carriage itself but the inhabitants of your world. Those are some interesting characters on the platform.

This is my favorite video in the series! The amount of artwork and time you must've put into this video is crazy. Several pieces drawn just for this video is incredible. I believe i've said this before but you scripts are probably the most underrated part of your hard work. I am always drawn in and fully engaged. Your character designs and trains (in this case) are so fun! Great work as always. I can't wait for the next video.
