For those of us who never had the chance to see the Beatles in person, these guys are, without question, far superior to any Beatlemania show you'll ever see. They capture the spirit and the essence of their personalities, and the music is spot on. Ron McNeil was terrific as John...it would appear that Adam Hastings has it nailed in even more detail. Saw them in Conn...will see them in California this summer.

I think that Ron is the best. I don't think there will ever been anyone who does it as well as him. I always thought he sounded more like John than John himself.
No doubt these talented muscians are the very best. Sadly I've only just discovered this terrific band. Even more frustratingly l live in jolly old England!
Ron retired because he was burned out on all the touring. He is still co-owner of the band with Ardy. So he will continue to get paid. He obviously won't make quite as much money but he will still get paid plenty. I wouldn't be surprised if ends up coming back in a couple of years or at least doing a few shows a year. I have no inside info on that. But just knowing human nature, it's easy to get burned out on something when it's all you do. But after you're away from it for a while, then you will often times start to miss it.
I think he still fills in when Adam can’t do a show.. like now, during this pandemic he’s been playing John in the virtual shows since Adam is likely stuck in England.
@@TheRobertLeach this is so true. But hopefully now that more little kids Are going to be eligible to get vaccinated before you know it. Don’t forget Adam happens to be a father like The real John Lennon.
Ardy played also the intro of Bohemian Rapsody during the time he was playing "Maybe I'm Amazed" alias Paul McCartney of Wings, guess he is also a Queen fan.
Hi PS, I think the conversation was getting stilted and embarrassing. Ardy needed to relieve the tension and unconsciously played that riff. Ardy is a gifted allrounder.
It’s Arthur yeah, but gavin is usually always on it 100%. but they never usually play the song and you can at least tell it’s all live. but it’s only one slip up yknow

I love Gavin but he’s not technically a great lead guitar player. The guy who plays George with Ardy in The Hard Days Night band is a better player.

Gavin Pring is just not great at lead guitar. Doug Couture and Michael Amador are way better than him.
