This was very helpful, thank you! One question I'm confused about...I made a book trailer, but there is no way that I can see to upload it to my book listing page, or in my A+ content. Don't I need a special kind of account for that?
Have you registered with Brand registry? Video ads go through brand ads. You cannot upload that to your listing but someone else can upload it along with their review.

You’re thinking of seller central. You can downgrade from the monthly to a personal one that charges .99 per sale. Also advantage.Amazon.com is a great program if you are selling books you printed. They are taking applications and letting people in. It is another way to get access to video ads also

I'm spending way more than I get back in sales. At one point I got 1,30,000 impressions but not that many sales. I changed the cover and I'm confident that it isn't that I sold 30 copies this month but spent approximately $500 to get them. That's too much.
