I did an upfront medicals. That is I had already completed my medical examination before submitting my study application to IRCC. It took them a month to approve it after I had submitted my application .

It took a year. I applied to my school in October 2021, submitted my visa application in May 2022. I got an approval in October 2022 and travelled in December 2022.
