I agree with music. My therapist spoke about grounding now I understood the concept but I thought that would’nt work for me. But last month my lil bro had to isolate because his work colleague tested positive. Anyway in the past my bro had COVID earlier this yr. Which gave me bad anxiety, panic attacks . The isolating again made me anxious and I knew it would trigger a anxiety attack or panic attack. I couldn’t focus on my breathing so grounding myself by looking at something wouldn’t help. Cooking relaxes me, so I started cooking but the anxiety was brewing inside me and I could feel it getting to the point where it would explode. So anyway I got a idea my favourite singer Ed Sheeren his song photographs always gets me nostalgic. The lyrics of the song takes me somewhere else. I get that warm fuzzy feeling you get when you hug a loved one and I’ll always sing along to that song when it’s playing on the radio or if I put it on Spotify. So that’s what I did I played the song on repeat and it gave me a sense of calmness. I didn’t realise at the time but later on did that I was essentially grounding myself through music.
You helped me in various aspects of my life like developing new habits example, meditation, Cooking, Mindfulness,self-care, overcoming negative emotions, and now again new topic anxiety I am really glad to know you😇

Very informative video. You are right! I have used most of the techniques you have said in these videos, it really works. I have few more suggestions which I have practiced and worked well with me…Kapala bhathi (fast belly breathing),Urjai breathing (fast chest breathing with both hand upward movement like saying “jay ho” in india) will also help for instant relief.. because it will clear the thoracic area, will convert the negative energy to a positive one…. Another method is cold water compressions with a smooth towel in shoulder and abdomen will make you cool down instantly….the belly and chest both will relax… Another way is here…if it is possible to practice Bandhas in Yoga in empty stomach, especially moola bandha and udiyana bandha will help to get a control over the belly and thus will get control over the emotions…it will strengthen the muscles and it will help to stay grounded…. Another technique is practicing simple basic Thai chi movements at home (even imagining in mind about hugging a tree, swimming in ocean, flying in the sky like a bird) all these will calm down the nervous system…Hope some of these technique will serve someone! Hai, I also used to get severe anxiety attacks and insomnia in March and April, Then I recently found out that my body is hypersensitive to caffeine. Now when i stopped taking caffeine, My anxiety has reduced to 90%, just try to find out the reason of your anxiety. And meditation and practicing analom vilom and a healthy diet also helped me to overcome it. Hopefully my experience help you. Be happy, the world is beautiful 😇

Hi, since last year when I got covid and my family members were admit i got panik attack and since then anxiety came in my life. There are alot of symptoms I faced. Feeling numbness in half body to bp to face muscle tnsn.. then I started getting therapies and working on my thoughts. It has reduced but I would say I am still working on it. It is a continuous process and it will end once we are able to control our thoughts.
Jesus came to save us. He was crucified, buried and then rose again on the third day. Now when we believe in Him we have eternal life and forgiveness of sins. Repent (turn away from your sins) God loves you!
Talking to yourself in a calm space really really helps!! I always refer to myself in second person and talk it out. Proved to be very effective for me
Im preparing for civil service examination which is one of the toughest exams in India. I start my day with your workout (ur video of 8 minute slay✌)and then with the guided meditation by jay & end the day by reading tlm's few pages before goin to sleep.All these Really helps me in my hectic study schedule..I really wanted to meet you both. I have anxiety 24/7 . Think ive had it since at least my teenage years. Ive even gone to therapy for years tried EMDR. Nothing has helped
