Such a nice young couple. I hope they're enjoying the US, and seeing and experiencing many of the things this country has to offer. Such a clever build with scrap material, so creative. I love their energy and their positive attitudes. I wish them very good luck and good fortune, good health and happiness always.
Favorite part is it cost under $1,000, love the toiletries, you would be amazed how fast your heel can dig up dirt if someone surprisingly comes along. LO L 😂. Roof sealant in the U.S.A. you can buy in 1 gallon to to 55 gallon barrels. Apply it with a paint 3/4 inch nap roller or use a paint brush. I use black on my deer stands due to camouflaging trying to blend in with the surrounding elements. I use white for the sun reflection on my house because I live in the south and the heat and humidity is unbearable in the summer.
If you can store a Bucket with Toilet Top seat & a Disposable Poop Bags, like Doggie Bags you can go inside & not worry about finding a place, tie it up ,dump at your nearest Restroom!👌🙌🙏🇺🇸
I liked the shower idea. I'm not a fan of the cat hole cause I'm older . Nice couple. They got this camper done in record time. Maybe she helped a lot too. I'm surprised they don't have a dog. Great video. Thanks
I like the shower too. It reminds me of a couple of Bob’s other videos but I don’t recall what they used on the floor to collect the water. I’ll have to replay it to see if I hear what she said.
Yeah, the more I see things like this, the more I question why our society pushes us to get a 30 year mortgage on a home that's larger than what we need, and then we work 40 hours every week for decades to live in that fancy box.
I love to always come back to your tours. Sometimes the YT algorithm takes me on a rabbit hole of super fancy, expensive and technological van builds... so seeing this recourseful, simple and kind couple's rig is just wonderful. ❤
I like your rig, i was going to build a camper but sold the truck and kept my Envoy, can't stand up but it sleeps well and carries everything I need for just camping.
Delightful couple, great use of found materials, creative use of a small space. Definitely light weight, first thing I noticed was how high the truck bed was sitting relative to the back tires. Thanks for a great tour!
Great build - ingenuity, repurposing materials, and very functional for their individual lifestyle. Kudos on a job very well done! May you have many happy travel adventures!🖤
Hey..... Chevy needs to have this guy do a commercial for the Silverado truck. I never heard that word pronounced so beautifully :) Great job on the camper as well. They are living their best life.
I was thinking of building just like this on a pickup. So nice to get a visual of the space management, and there was more room than what the my imagination thought there would be. Thank you for sharing your home
I don't know if you have already built one by now but you can put DIY Build truck campers and you can build a camper out of a truck topper too. I just got a raised roof truck topper, used, last week and I'm fixing to start building me one. It's amazing how you can set on up! Solar heat. Water pump, fridge AC in one. I hope you have but if not I hope you do soon and go have a great time. Happy Trails my friend!
Functional and comfortable...there are certainly rolling pieces of art out there for sure, we see them on this channel, but this is more my style and reinforces that getting on the road is the goal - how we get there is an individual endeavor.
Great interview! I like the dinette, height and the use of the vertical space with the netting. I have a bel-air shell that I can barely stand up in and I’m 5’1” ! I have 1/2 ton pickup built out with 200 W solar, 200ah batt, 1000W inverter, 40A controller, a 26 qt fridge, bucket toilet, salad bowl sink with attached/removable 6 gal fresh/grey tanks and a portable 1 burner butane gas stove. But I only have a 6’ bed.
Brian! Had autoplay going and it was an awesome surprise to see you pop up on my TV haha glad to see you're doing well man! Can't believe it's almost been a year since being on the trail. Hope to see y'all again soon!
Very cool - the beauty of the "No Build" approach - that is the approach that we did in our van and have been more than happy with our set up! Good for others getting out and doing their own things! During our cross country road trip we saw so many people camping in trucks, vans, cars - whatever - just to get out on the road! It was so inspiring! Keep making memories & adventure on! ~Karen & Shannon WOY
I like it! Practical, useful, and simple. That's what makes it pleasant. I much prefer a simple and useful RV to one that's too fancy and looks like an apartment. Thanks for sharing this!
I've had short bed pickups. 6' high, 6' wide, 8' long camper. they made good use of what they had to work with. they can pull a cargo trailer too for bathroom
So Cool using what often gets thrown away as contruction waste. Shows what can be done for not a lot of money if your handy. And imagine how much less they have to work for the man by living simply and resourcefully. Such an inspiration.
Hello everybody from Puerto Rico , there’s a lot of travelers from Argentina, Uruguay, Colombia, Chile, Spain and Mexico in USA and if you contact some of then probably there’s interesting information and stories for your excellent channel, thanks
Thank you, Brian, for another great video. This is a really nice inexpensive rig. It is nice they used salvaged material's and construction scraps. This reminded me of Bob Wells' truck camper form his Blog in the early 2000s. Late winter, spring on the peninsula in Mexico looks fun and relaxing... Thank you again for the video. Safe travels.
I applaud you for your use of recycled materials and minimalistic lifestyle, thanks for sharing your build with us!
What I like about that build , is the smile on their face's . They are having fun . That is all that matters !
I love that they used what they had and kept it simple.
Resourceful, creative, cozy, and thrifty build by kind people! Well done!
0:52 Especially east Hastings is super cool. would love to visit my self.
The ingenuity of the human race never ceases to amaze
I love that they have the shower using a pump sprayer.

what a lovely, fun couple! really enjoyed this tour, thanks! :)
Very efficient, compact and functional! Everything they need!
That has always been a dream of mine. A lightweight cabin on the back of a pickup. Out of materials no one wanted anymore. 😊
If you can store a Bucket with Toilet Top seat & a Disposable Poop Bags, like Doggie Bags you can go inside & not worry about finding a place, tie it up ,dump at your nearest Restroom!👌🙌🙏🇺🇸
Very nice truck camper. What a great couple too. I wish them many years and many miles of safe travels. Thanks Brian.

Quick easy and inexpensive what more is there thank you ALL stay safe
I love the simplicity! Goes to show that we really don’t need all that stuff that we accumulate over our lifetime.
Yeah, the more I see things like this, the more I question why our society pushes us to get a 30 year mortgage on a home that's larger than what we need, and then we work 40 hours every week for decades to live in that fancy box.

What a great build and such a sweet couple. I love the way he designed the bed and the folding table.
The Simplicity and the repurposing of discarded materials. Very simple very easy
I liked how the table supports just folded flat against the side when they were not using it
All sorts of interesting characters wandering the American Southwest. So great that these two good people are enjoying our country!
I like your rig, i was going to build a camper but sold the truck and kept my Envoy, can't stand up but it sleeps well and carries everything I need for just camping.
Brilliantly simple build. Recycling is the best!
Thank you 😊

The favorite part of the video? Baptiste and Marion amazing vibe. Thx
really nice, just enough to be happy! 💯

So many creative people in our community! Thank you Brian!
I liked most everything, but would probably need to add "the bucket."
I like the reuse/repurposing of materials, spartan, minimalistic and economical solid build.
Loved the bed. And that it is very thrifty. Great build.
Nice save at the end. Peace and Love 😊
Wow!! What a clever, creative, and simple build! It’s amazing what you can do in a 6’x6’x8’ space!
the walkin closet off my living room is 4' x 7' high x 10' long...
I complain about the bathroom being small off the bedroom
Love the use of the EPDM material on the roof and corners.
I was thinking of building just like this on a pickup. So nice to get a visual of the space management, and there was more room than what the my imagination thought there would be. Thank you for sharing your home

I love the design. Simple and efficient. Gave me some good ideas.
I really like this camper. It is cheap and simple with some very easy and useful hand built gadgets.

Awesome, simple, and effective build!
Great video!! I like that they have used recycled materials. It boggles me to see all the empty homes, yet we have millions homeless!!
Brian! Had autoplay going and it was an awesome surprise to see you pop up on my TV haha glad to see you're doing well man! Can't believe it's almost been a year since being on the trail. Hope to see y'all again soon!
That table fold away was so cool!

Nice job on the build and good that they kept it lightweight so the more economical V6 engine is able to handle it with ease. 👍🏻
love the Tour, the Couple did a great job building their own Truck Camper, love it, gave thumbs up, thanks for sharing.
What wonderful people. And such an impressive rig.
Fav is table, window and low weight .
I could leave in a camper, but has to have at least a
Proper bathroom, of course can be small. But has to have its on space.
I like it! Practical, useful, and simple. That's what makes it pleasant. I much prefer a simple and useful RV to one that's too fancy and looks like an apartment. Thanks for sharing this!
