I drank Riesling wine quite often when I lived in Frankfurt. I paid frequent visits to Rüdesheim and savoured wine. Schloss Johannisberg and Kloster Eberbach are must-visit wineries. :)

The maybe most important region for the production of Riesling in Germany is the Pfalz (Palatinate). Kanada was to mention as well as Washington state.
