You explained this 2 speed transmission in a way that is easy to understand. This will definitely come in handy when it’s maintenance time! Thanks for sharing with everyone!
Awesome tech vid brother Kyle! The color coding was a great idea!! No body likes two speed issues lol. The Kyosho Truck also has THREE speed issues! Hope you have a blessed week brother Kyle!
Super great tip on coloring the second art of the clutch hub to know which side's screw you're adjusting!! I ran into this same issue with a couple Nitro TC3s, imagine this same setup on the tiny 1/10 chassis. Even more of a nightmare to work on, lol..
@@kgm5512 I quickly gave up on those access holes. Between the hole size, the diameter of my driver, and needing new glasses long ago it’s just easier for me pulling the trans. Adjusting it externally makes the Savage X 4.6 2 spd adjustment look like a trip to the amusement park. Access on those is easy peezy. I thought about enlarging the holes but lack a good situation to do so ( vise, drill press, … )
I’d honestly be surprised if anybody’s has shifted out of ths box. These things are just slapped together and Im sure attention to detail in the 2spd dept is lacking. As long as all the parts are there you’re doing good. My Savage didn’t shift as well so I’m starting to think it’s the norm on RTR 2 speeds of this nature. Kits you do yourself and get a good reference point to start in the owners/assembly manual. Unfortunately with these……you get “ thanks, good luck.” It’s a decent car for the $. I think the buggy fills its role better though.

Oh man! I couldn’t imagine the same set up on a smaller scale!!
You’re welcome. I hope you got it all squared away and got it shifting okay. It’s a fun car when all dialed in.
I ran it yesterday and I forgot the driver that fits the hole to adjust lol. It’s not bound up anymore that’s the main concern
