There’s a perfect bat carcass inside the Flattened Cabin that you can just pick up. Handy for Mrs Hobbs hunting requests.
I love how this multi-million game mechanic doesnt just allow you to auto reclaim tomahawks and arrows on corpses when you loot them forcing you to literally step over bodies to retrieve them.
Before Kieran's mission you can find 3 tomahawks at Six Point Cabin.

Cool weapon on my 2nd playthrough and never used the hatchets or knives at all except for the throwing knife challenge, need to give it a go looks deadly.

I found the pamphlet but not the Hewing hatchett on previous game play.
When i found the double ended hatchet near that cabin where yiy can knick the semi auto shotgun from the nasty woman i too threw it at a tree .... only a bit too high so i couldn't get it back 😂
If that happens, you can shoot the hatchet out of the tree.

I only get 1 owl feather when I pluck the owls. Does that mean my legend of the east satchel is full?

Omg. I need that for Murfrees and Raiders! Have avoided shooting owls and eagles. I did see an eagle fly INTO a tree and die, so I plucked it.
Eagle and hawk feathers are used for the Improved Tomahawk. Not as good as this one, but better than the plain vanilla.
A lot of big mouthed riders on my journey's on the trail like "get out of the way or move it before i blow your head off"! ) are gonna feel this tomahawk 😁
