Recently, I started learn Russian and your videos are so helpful. 154 Сто пятьдесят четыре. 579 Пятьсот семьдесят девять. 473 Четыреста семьдесят три. 901 Девятьсот один. 1845 тысяча восемьсот сорок пять. I spend over 10 minutes to finish this. I'm not used to type Cyrillic alphabets.
You've solved what that was a nightmare for me! Especially cause I used to mix dozens and hundreds. Now it's much easier, большое спасибо! :) - сто пятьдесят четыре; - пятьсот семьдесят девять; - четыреста семьдесят три; - девятьсот один; - тысяча восемьсот сорок пять.
If anyone wants this for practice here are randomized numbers: 673 212 503 482 1038 Another group of numbers: 101 736 1463 1218 829 Okay this is for your personal practice enjoy :)
To new viewers who didnt read the correction comment far down: 8.17, the 900 part in the 1958 word is spelled wrong in the printout, it is spelled the same way as 900 in its own, he answered it further down but it will be confusing and misleading if u think its written like that but pronounced the same suddenly out of the blue in that context:)
This is even more important than I thought because you dont say 1812 in Russian as in English 18 12 but as one thousand eight hundred and twelve, so even to give historical dates/ the year of your birth you need to know numbers up to a thousand (also roubles are mostly in thousands!). These explanations are good. By the way, you spelt nine hundred wrong at the end.
Thank you this really helped, as I have been learning Russian for 3 months now. By any chance Fidor, do you have a video covering 2000 to 10,000 in Russian??
U sounds confident or knowledgable n willing to go extra mile or making concerted efforts for your viewers, and (n) Accordingly 4 ur aforementioned efforts, I just subscribed n good luck 2 u indeed! USA
Thanks a lot for explaining in such a simple way..Your style of teaching is really commendable...I like it very much. Here in India i am struggling hard to learn your language so that on my visit to Russia in coming summer....I would be able to speak Russian a bit...Know about the people and its rich culture.Looking for your valuable guidance..спасибо.....Indira
Hi Fedor. For the practice, I am struggling with 901. The video didn't go over 0, so do you just leave the 0 out of the spelling? Like in english we don't say nine hundred zero one...would it be: девятьсот один? Please let me know if that is right. I also noticed in your video that for the number 1958 you spelled 900 as девятот but when 900 is by itself (when you went over 100, 200, 300...) 900 was spelled девятьсот. so in the larger number (1958), does the 900 change? Here is what I came up with for the number practice you had: 154 - сто пятдесят четыре 579 - пятьсот семьдесят девять 473 - четыреста семьдесят три 901 - девятьсот один 1845 - тысяча восемьсот сорок пять спасибо!
154=Сто пятьдесят четыре 579=Пятьсот семьдесят девять 473=Четыреста семьдеят три 901=Девятьсот один 1845= Тысяча восемьсот сорок пять It's been 3 years already but I want to answer it whether it's wrong or not. 🙈
If anyone can answer, do Russians take shortcuts in large numbers eg in English the year 1958 is nineteen fifty eight, not one thousand nine hundred and fifty eight?
154-> Сто Пятьдесят Четыре 579-> Пятьсот Семьдесят Девять 473-> Четыресот Семьдесят Три 901-> Девятьсот Один 1845-> Tысяча Восеньсто Сорок Пять. I hope it is correct 😀.
Hello, I live in Russia and am a native speaker of Russian. I will help you improve your spoken Russian for free. During our training, I want to develop my spoken English skills better
Is it acceptable in Russian to divide a four-digit number into two two-digit numbers, as often heard in English? For example, ask any Briton or American the year Woodstock happened and they'll say "nineteen sixty-nine", not the roundabout "one thousand nine hundred sixty-nine". Would the equivalent "девятнадцать шестьдесять девять" be acceptable versus "тысяча девятьсот шестьдесять девять"?
No. In Russian we don't divide years into two pairs. So the 1969 (if we talk about the year) will be "тысяча девятьсот шестьдесять девятый год" or "тысяча девятьсот шестьдесять девятый" (if we know that we're talking about the year). We can also say simply "шестьдесять девятый год" when we know the century which we're talking about.
and here's "My turn" : 154 сто пятьдесят четыре 579 пятьсот семьдесят девять 473 четыреста семьдесят три 901 девятьсот один 1,845 тысяча восемьсот сорок пять
Can you please explain plural forms of words and the uses of the suffix ю and the differences между моём мою моим моих моё моей моему моими also can you talk about the uses of свой and how to explain things in the reflexive form?
In this other video here she says 300 different? ua-cam.com/video/73U-OqpaU48/v-deo.html&list ; at 8.30 she pronounces and says the number 300 wrong, or just different, according to ur way? Is there more ways to say them? I notice more sentences in this other common phrases video is also different than what ive learned and heard so far, so im going with ur way. But this other video here. Shes adint 'cot' on the 3 part already, instead of at the 5 part? Ty :)
Like im estonian. And i speak estonian language... I need to undrestand English + then what he says. Its werry hard to me 😭. But at least he is talking all open... Thanks!
Hey dude I think you make a mistake with number 1958 cause you said before that 900 is DeBitcot, (i don´t have russian keybord) ))). so and here you wrote debitot so i dont know if is right or wrong please just explain me that fro be sure about it
Great video. When it comes to English pronunciation of numbers, you use the word "and" similar to a decimal point. Two hundred and fifty eight = 200.58 Two hundred fifty eight = 258

Counting number from 100 to 900 is like counting time 1 to 9 o'clock,
сот и часов от пять
easy to remember.
девятот....at first I thought it was irregular conjugation of девятьсот^^
Hi Fedor. For the practice, I am struggling with 901. The video didn't go over 0, so do you just leave the 0 out of the spelling? Like in english we don't say nine hundred zero one...would it be: девятьсот один? Please let me know if that is right.

What did the vowels do to the Russian people. Why are there almost none. As a Finn this makes me hurt.

5:30 why its "девятот" not "девятьсот" ???
Hey dude I think you make a mistake with number 1958 cause you said before that 900 is DeBitcot, (i don´t have russian keybord) ))). so and here you wrote debitot so i dont know if is right or wrong please just explain me that fro be sure about it
The right spelling is девятьсот!
Теперь все тоже самое , но с падежами ))) к примеру 941 )) Я думаю взрыв мозга будет)
Great video.
When it comes to English pronunciation of numbers, you use the word "and" similar to a decimal point.
Two hundred and fifty eight = 200.58
Two hundred fifty eight = 258
Господи, до чего я докатился, учусь считать заново
Please rate my attempt counting to 1000 in Russian
Hi. How come the 900 component of 1958 spelt differently to 900?
Oh wow! That was a huge typo!!!!
Девятьсот is the right spelling. Sorry about that.
Thank you! I really appreciate your content. They support my weekly Russian lessons here in England.
