Absolutely necessary. Their business isn’t in trouble but it’s at huge risk of being in trouble.
Share price went up, so total return is still on a good way it seems. Holding.
lol what? total loser stock on top of cut dividend. you have to have some amount of standards for your companies sir
@@justinjohnson8398 You might want to look at what products they sell. There's not many stores in Europe which do not contain at least one 3M product, if only as an ingredient in something. The dividend will be back on level quickly.
sold 2 years ago for $125, not looking back; I'm pretty much done with individual stocks
Yeah individual is the Death for Long term Holders.. Sure Sure it can Bomb You up there the Problem is when it does not and the whole Stock will go Bust :)
Bought total 12 shares almost 1.5 year ago, going to hold for a lot more.
With solventum's sold, i received 70 us for stock, i will mantain my mmm stock, for looooong time
I cut my losses back in March on 3M. Redeployed capital to some of my other holdings. This sell will help offset some gains I’m looking at elsewhere
Tempted to sell because I’ve held this company for years and it’s only just become profitable for me.
Thanks for the thorough analysis
Cut it on a technical level with the spinn off so it’s not a real cut
It's a cut, it's paying less factoring in both dividends than prior to the split.
3m has given me like 10 - 12% in dividends considering the spin-off and I'm still in the green side. Undervaluation works even if prices are corrected, enough margin of safety .
Excellent video. I remember disagreeing with you about the dividend cut, clearly i was wrong. It happens BUT fortunately this is a learning opportunity, i did not buy 3M but it's good to learn from my mistakes and thoughts, especially when the information is laid out so nice and easy to see why i was wrong.
I can't get access to your site, it won't load the page reporting it's unsafe, and that happens with all browsers
likely an error from an antivirus on your computer. You may need to just turn it off.
Still holding for cc purposes, will sell once I get back in the black - uggh.
Thanks for taking a look at 3M! Their share price didn’t plummet immediately so I wonder what the future holds for this company.
Maybe people have hope and are holding because the dividend cut shows that the company is aware of their financial problems and didn't let it continue? They realize that they are paying out too much dividends when the cashflows is not enough.
@@Kimi_Bu_ 3M makes a lot of good products. I feel like it’s a solid company. Not sure if I sit on my shares or sell them while I’m in the green
Due to the dividend cut they have more resources to get the company back on track. It shed financial burden and became more healthy. For information on how the company will perform in the future you will need to follow their releases on their investor relations page. Hope has nothing to do with it.
Is solventum corporation a dividend aristocrat like how it happend with kenvue stock?
W video 🐐
Thanks
How do people feel about AGNC
