Hello Laura Jane, I downloaded your freebies after watching some of your videos... I want to thank you for providing them. They're a big help and inspiration in brainstorming how I want my planner to end up. Back in Germany, I have a different lifestyle and planner style. It was quite rigid and very corporate. I still have my A5 Filofax and would like to use it again. As of now I've been using several notebooks mostly from MUJI to organize my day to day. It's time to finish simplifying my planner. Thank you for the inspiration. BTW, I might incorporate some footages using some of the pages I printed from your freebies in my video - They have my scribbles from brainstorming.🙋🏻♀
Great to see where you are at mid year. You have such an inspiring practical set up. I love your contents page. After a quiet few years we’ve had lots of trips in the last year, mostly kids trips (skiing, DofE expeditions, French exchange, Italy, London etc). I’ve had them in order in my projects section and used some page flags with coloured dots on so I can get to them quickly. Each trip just has a few lists and notes. I like the idea of having some house project pages where I can keep idea for when we refresh a room. I was wondering about your film watching. I struggled to sit & enjoy a film for a couple of decades but got back into films during the lockdowns. Love watching a film most weeks now and would like to update my to watch list. My 18 yr old nephew watches Home & Away. I used to love it and have visited where it’s filmed.
It’s held up much better than I thought it would! There’s a little paint cracking on the spine but that’s to be expected when opening and closing the planner so much but I don’t really notice it. I used Angelus Leather Paint and I believe I used the colour Natural but added a tiny bit of brown acrylic paint to warm up the grey a little. It was time consuming but relatively easy. I’d love to do it again with a cheap second hand moterm so I can have a second cover to switch into
