excellent work, this is why I watch the channel. I do not like those 50 second "shorts" but I like these episodes while I putter around the house and kitchen.
Yeah, drinking pints & trying to be funny at odd moments. He makes me cringe. Love Mr. Bean tho 😁😁 & other narrators. Just not him. He makes himself the show" too much . There's another guy too that does it. He's Jewish, sorry, all I remember. Does ancient biblical shows.

@@tinyGrim1 @TheBox&TheRarebit Yeah, it's a personal preference. I can understand why Tony's style might not be everyone's cup of tea, even though I personally enjoy his playfulness, excitement, and wild imagination. Different presenter's approaches and personalities provide value in different ways.
I know I saw a comment about how this paid almost no attention (ya know, the title) to the ancient Tasmanian's & commented on it now it's gone. Why would anyone delete that comment?
Maybe... because in history collonials and convicts were ordered to "cull" most of indigenous tasmania's population, resulting in near genocide of a people's. Have you heard of truganini? There are tasmanian aboriginals in Tasmania ❤ still here, however aspects of culture and language were lost, as a result of mass mur.der of full aboriginals. It's a horrific history, which might be why you can't say all of it in comments, maybe that's why it was deleted? For guidelines

I did not know Tony was a skilled skirt chaser. His 40 year old wife is pretty hot now. He for sure married up figuratively and literally because she seems to be a good bit taller as well haha. Good on you old boy, 75 and still a hound lol
In the small dying city my boyfriend grew up in within USA, PA there is a large Russian orthodox and catholic community. So someone opened up a bar and named it "Church" 😂 my bf dad goes every Sunday.
Were there no indigenous tasmanians to present the foods of thier ancestors? I think the grubs were cooked or smoked and not eaten alive. I'm native American and we ate grubs but they were steamed in a log in the fire. I guess I wish you had a native tasmanian person for that segment, I would have trusted it more. I watched the whole segment looking for an indigenous face, and I only saw one non-white face it was a black woman and a child. Maybe there aren't any indigenous folks left, that would be very sad.
Hey! Just to let you know, why you didn't see as you say "non-white" face its because most indigenous people in tasmania have lighter skin as all the indigenous Tasmanians living are all mixed. This is because of genocide, most people believe truganini was the last full blooded Tasmanian aboriginal, but I still think there's much of Tassie most people don't go to, so I like to hope there is a tribe hidden away. I hope this helped!
@@Give.It.Everything.Youve.Got. hey ... yes it helped. I'm a member of the Iroquois Nations the Mohawk Tribe. I hope a few have survived too it would be a shame to have lost an entire culture.
@@judithsullivan9703 See where it says "Pairrebeener Elder" in the description? This means she IS Indigenous. Australian Indigenous belonging/identity is probably very different to what you are used to. Blood quantum, skin colour, none of that matters at all when it comes to being an Indigenous person. This is because of a very bad history with colonisation, genocide and something called the stolen generation where they basically wanted to wipe out Indigenous people. To be an Indigenous person there are are only 3 things that matter: That the person is descended from Indigenous people, that they identify as indigenous person, and that they are accepted by the community. @@lookieloo-q8f thank you for taking the time to help me understand the circumstances for the aboriginal people in Australia... I hope there's some tribes that still survive and keep their traditional history alive.
@@judithsullivan9703 There are surviving mobs, none that I know of who can still live as they did pre-colonisation though. It’s mostly in areas that Europeans didn’t want to live that people could continue living (depending on the area, it’s a big country so it’s more complex than that). That means that the more “liveable” and productive areas were taken over and walking routes between areas were cut off. Surviving groups became more isolated as trade etc between groups became restricted, and introduced plant and animal species took resources from native species. I love Tony. I adore everything I've eve seen him do, but what happened to the ancient Tasmanians AND their food?
Her reaction to his spitting it out! What a good sport!
Awesome!! You showed what they ate, and artifacts..however, no Tazmanians or other natives in sight.
