    We could return to our Pagan roots since we all have the common interest in nature. That would certainly bind the community like it did our ancestors. 🌲

    I'm glad the issue of 'ownership' is discussed. All living creatures on this earth are constantly battling for territory, it's just the way it is and has to be accepted. I'm not good with groups of people, so despite my longing to live this kind of life it would never be in a community. The terraced house I own is also continually needing attention too so it's really just location. As for a religion to bind a community, you have the spirit of nature in common ie paganism as is understood today, no shrine necessary but the wheel of the year should definitely be respected.

    That land is sooo gorgeous and magical. I've been trying to manifest land for awhile and do the same thing, pool my $ with others. I could totally do 4 hrs a week. I want my own land though so no one could try to control me. I live in the US sadly. Stuck here for awhile until the lawsuit I filed has ended. After the lawsuit I should have enough to get a chunk of land.

    What this land seems to be needing at first glance would be road maintenance or maybe it just seems that way since so much of this tape is a long slow trip across a tore up mud road.They must go through car suspensions and tires like crazy

    my good freind has a place so much like this ! over the last 20 years i and my family have lived and worked there on and off as the years have gone by . the plot of land is only 26 acres with a river and a few out buildings /feild barns .
    although i could stop in one of the bofies . i always choose to go camping there , this place is not so far away from middle wood , but somehow the landowner / my good freind has never beenable to get over the chalenge of getting over to the people that stop on his land [may i add for free ] have stewardship but no real rights to do other than he wants on his land .
    he maybe the land owner but his way of thinking is purley he just looks after the paradice god provided ,
    sad to say but there are not so many people that understand !
    and over the years i have known him i have seen real good folk come and go ,some that should have stayed but due to real life in england you have to have a real home back in the big city , to pay the taxes and to be accountable !
    me and my late wife lived at this place with our 4 children but still had a town house ,
    the truth is you are not alowed to live like this in england ! [this is a fact ]

    You can never seclude yourself from society. That would lead to building another stressful society. But you can be a semi-hermit within a city by being busy on your own at home and limit social dinners, stay on your own healthy diet.

    i am afraid I don´t quite understand the ownership discussion !!! There is no discussion , for if someone is kind enough and willing to take on strangers to live on his land I would see as a Duty to be a thankfull and a helpfull guest .

    • @UTshaman
      @UTshaman  8 років тому +1

      this is true.
      what you are missing is the long term situation, where the landowner has the power over the other residents. it sounds fine in theory, until you live it. this is why everyone eventually left

    • @LightWrathme
      @LightWrathme 8 років тому

      It almost sounds like you're implying the land owner was wrong or the bad guy to decline changes to his land that the guests wanted to make and having a executive power on the decisions that was made in regards to the land.

    I have been planning to start an intentional community based on my experiences living in a place called Koininia from 1971-1973. I agree that the "glue" is an important factor in attaining and maintaining cohesiveness, cooperation, and continuity. I have a certain "vision" for what such a place should be like, and although I am open minded, there will likely be disagreements and then the issues of ownership and authority come into play. More details on my project are being updated on newkoinoinia dot com.

      Jeremy Hunter I'm sure it works then I suspect it backfires because it's possibly demonic but I don't know...people say it's a special way to work it but gosh, it doesn't sound right. There's this process of having soul family, which out of 27,000 celestial families, that used to hover above the earth, are the beings prime creator gave you in the beginning of your creation and it's said they are locked out because of the matrix grid....and also said to be coming back. It was said when you have these connections it's not only the glue but super powerful to work with these beings who are interested in you forever and they never break up, unless that is they lose some members into a matrix grid due to some kind of galactic karma, earth is currently a prison planet or some kind of school of pain to learn lessons.

      Kevin Richards Rock the Stage NYC All right,i'll have a read! Yes indeed,i mean i had my days when i was younger and being idealist,smoking pot,other drugs and shit but we can't go back living like the middle-ages or worse roman times when rape,blooshed was just a common thing and most of all lawless,fuck it!And i do enjoy women with nice and smooth legs and without a tuna odor like in between their legs,ohhhhh,i'm gonna puke!!!Hello from France :)

    • @Twobirdsbreakingfree
      @Twobirdsbreakingfree 2 роки тому

      You didn't twig it that The Tragedy of The Commons is a propaganda piece that collapses entirely in the face of reality? Its pretty tragic how that paper actually succeeded in deceiving you and programming your mind with a falsehood. What happens, in reality, with resources that are communally owned, is that they are self-regulating. Anybody who attempts to game the system or take more than their fair share is quickly found out and punished in such situations. The Tragedy of The Commons is total bullshit. A lie that got you bad.

    • @TotalSinging
      @TotalSinging 2 роки тому

      @@Twobirdsbreakingfree The Tragedy of the Commons is a well documented piece of history. So is the first Pilgrim settlement under Bradford. Then we have hippie communes and gee, I don't know - all of Russian history under Communism and ALL of China's history under Communism.
      Collectivism is a scam that has NEVER worked in modern society and never will.
      This is 2022 AD not 2022 BC. We don't live in tribal caves anymore and we won't go back.
      Have fun with your WEF insect meal pack.

    • @Twobirdsbreakingfree
      @Twobirdsbreakingfree 2 роки тому

      @@TotalSinging you are not entirely incorrect. Collective ownership works in small, interdependent communities that don't exceed the Dunbar number in size. This is because communities of this size allow everyone to keep track of everyone else and punish people who cheat and take more than their fair share. The future of humanity will therefore be living in these small interdependent communities where sharing and mutual aid are the primary means of economic subsistence. This is the only mode of human existence that has withstood the test of time. Industrial civilization is already failing, after just 250 years, like all civilizations. They just don't last, because they're based on excess and taking more than humanity's fair share from the earth. This is not some hippy concept but reality. I hope you can overcome your fear of renouncing the excess in your life. That addiction and attachment to excess is the reason you're going to be forced to eat bugs to survive. You could have been dining on wild venison and other delights of nature, but because you chose to pillage the earth, you're left with nothing but insects to eat. You've brought the misery upon yourself.

    This land (forest) looks wonderful, but I understand why such a 'community' does not function. I agree with one thing he says: to have a real community, that will last, a shared religion (true faith) is needed. What he promotes is the opposite, it's a belief in magic. Magic might work for material stuff, but it works against living creatures, because it's demonic.
