Does anyone know what the table its built on is called? I have some of those aluminum extrusions with the same type of slots in them but having a table like that also would be really nice for bigger projects
Normally i would suggest SCL which is siemens, after u learn it, u can jump to allen bradley and others. Usually PLC has ladder logic, structure text, function block but i would recommend go ladder logic 1st then structure text, then go any sequence for function block diagram, sequential function chart n instructions list
Meanwhile im out here wanting to make a fully automated casing reloading machine for my final project. They said no. Im still mad years later. It would've been cool, but no apparently something about how the college doesn't want to be associated with violence or something. What do you mean violence? I just want fresh freedom seed for range day on the weekends.

Yeah but some components are attached to it as well so it's not just a cylinder
I think it's a pneumatic cylinder with compressed air tubes connected to a solenoid valve.
Even if there is more than just a cylinder, saying it's a cylinder is still more accurate than calling it a robot arm
