A great idea,but I think if the ponytail came with a little more hair,not length wise but more on weft and placed slightly higher,would look even better.Good job though!!

Yes mine too I thought it was just me .All the videos made it look so easy but mine was slipping
You can try bobby pinning as you wrap the the hair around. I feel like that helped secure it as I worked my way around the base of my own ponytail.
