Ashcoat 60€ hurts the butt. Just built a similar Wick and looking for inspiration, I got it all sans Ashcoat. Close to pulling the trigger but such a boring way to spend that much, if it was at least some fantastic art and treatment etc.
Hey i am new to magic and want to build a deck around whick. The commander rules say that you can only play the colors that your commander has. So is it even allowed to put suggested red or blue cards in the deck when whick is only dark type?
Wick is considered a three colored commander because of its activated ability. When looking at the color identity of a creature you have to consider if they have an activated ability because that also is taken into account not only the cost to cast it. Some of the other great examples are the 5 color commanders that are only one color to cast and have an activated ability for WUBRG. I’ll link to EDHREC where you can see these. I hope this helped you and that you have a great day. edhrec.com/commanders/five-color
Sorry to disappoint. This deck like most of the kindred rat decks have very similar cards and play almost identically. Wick is unique and I just wanted to show that off. I hope that you will take that into consideration and check out my videos in the future. Have a great day!

Loose the rat strategy and do more to pump up the snail.
I could watch this video. Or I can just use EDHREC bc they’re the same suggestions.
