- Una Limosna por el Amor de Dios (an alm for the love of God) by Augustin Barrios.
Barrios was inspired to write this piece when he heard an old beggar woman knocking on doors, asking for "an alm for the love of God." She would sing in for money in return. The recurring bass line is the knocking in this piece. This was the last piece Barrios wrote.
Just beautiful just beautiful, its so not fair how some people just have all the talent. :)
Best Wishes,
Rob

a true pleasure to listen to your interpretation
Very nice interpretation. I tend to power through this piece when I play it, and enjoyed hearing your sense of drama within the piece as a contrast.

Wow...
Esa canción no se llama así, esa se llama "El la última canción" de Agustín Barrios Mangoré.
omg....you went to GFA last year? o_O
awesome....
@FrankenFleur Thank you!!!
very nice technique I need to post some of my classical videos here soon I just never get around to it lol. your rythm is very steady on those triplet picks! that is very hard for me to do for that long and stay that steady, very nice. do you play any neoclassical on electric?
Humphrey ? as in the Thomas Humphrey guitar with elevated fretboard with a slightly curved top? hey, and the side of your guitar looks really cool too, is it a continuous piece of wood, or jointed?
I would marry you and play this excellent piece with you. You' re beautiful! Greetings from Argentina :)
Do you play normal scale guitars?
Saw you at GFA this year...I thought you should've won, but that's because I like musicality over technique. It was great to hear you play in Austin!
Cheers, Eric
Chaconne, did you connect a microphone to the camcorder in order to record this? Great sound!
