Lilantho, I reccomend for your next challenge you choose Mudkip, mudkip(if evolved) is good agaisnt the first 3 gyms it is immune too the first, strong agaisnt the second, and third is neutral, by then you should have a grass or electric type attacker, the reason you want mudkip/swampert because early game you don’t have as much options as late game
I know this video is old and I’m commenting before I reached the first minute, but personally if you wanted to speed things up you should have taken mudkip since he wipes his ass with damn near every gym
there's hundreds of disgusting clones. leave the game behind. the original developers want that to happen. respect the wishes of the originals, not the leeches.

It depends, if I haven't beaten the fourth gym yet I go to the trainer in Craganos Mines thats standing by the bridge, if I'm at Port Decca then I fight the trainer in Decca Beach and if I finished the entire game I level grind in Victory Road fighting the pink haired trainer.
I counted 6 play roughs in the video, but throughout the entire playthrough im guessing a humble 32, btw really great video, cant say it directly since youtube wont let me, but: evilemperium
