Not much different than E:D in terms of gameplay (too bad there's no alien race in Evochron Legacy, and the universe is smaller), but the plus of this game is you can land and build anywhere (you can walk around in terrain walker). Yes there are less variation on the stations, they look mostly the same, but it's still fun to play if you're into space trading sim. (it has deep ship customization too) This game is made mainly by one person and he done it very well.
When i played Evochron Mercenary, i was wondering in an asteroid field and discovered a cave in one of them, it was guarded by pirates, i found a destroyed ship in there ... getting new drive and pathfinding in the dark, just jumping "somewhere in that direction".. i did not see anything like this in ED. It's just much more fun.
That was fun - a nice reminder of a great game!
Man, I still remember the previous title, Evochron Mercenary. Had a lot of good times with it, particularly trying to get to Earth. So damn hard lol
Amazing game. I can't believe Elite Dangerous fails to give us stuff like this. Will be buying this.
Yeah E:D 8 years later; water planets and atmospheric planetary landing are still out of sight.

I am thinking of buying this game, i used to play elite dangerous. But, i turns out to b a disapointment.

I better don't buy evochron untill next friday. Else, i will b late for work tomorrow.
There r a way too many flaws to bare with, in elite.
