5-27-24 Erin Miller, Portsmouth had their Memorial Day Parade in 2023 also. It has not been 2 years. Same time🇺🇸Same Station in 2023 🇺🇸 Portsmouth is a Historical City and the citizens are deserving of Patriotic Accuracy as the home for the oldest Navy Shipyard that is inaccurately named the Norfolk Naval Shipyard although located in Portsmouth, Va Portsmouth Naval Shipyard should have been of our city because the Shipyard referred to as the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard in Portsmouth, New Hampshire is actually physically located in Kittery, Maine. If Congress would honor the correct cities we would be known as the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard in Portsmouth, Va and the Kittery Naval Shipyard in Kittery, Maine. Instead our naming rights with all the valuable advertising is going to Norfolk, Va with Kittery, Maine’s naming rights going to Portsmouth, New Hampshire. How utterly ridiculous and so unfair to Portsmouth, Virginia and Kittery, Maine. In Honor of all the Veterans from Portsmouth, Virginia and Kittery, Maine who gave their lives and fought for this country’s freedom going back hundreds of years, IT IS NOW THE TIME TO MAKE IT RIGHT. WE DESERVE THE PROPER ACCURATE RECOGNITION. 🇺🇸 The Memorial Day Parade for 2024 we salute the Committee and all the Participants. Thank You 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸❤️
Not a single bit of PPG being worn by the mini bike riders (even the Shriners wore helmets in their cars). Now if one of bikers ate it and hurt themselves or someone in the crowd everyone would be ready to sue the parade organizers.
Awesome 👌
My hometown
The parade is looking well supported. Great job guys!
I was in the nansmond river band 😁😁😁

this is the worst organized parade I've ever seen, why the huge gaps? OMG
