I don't have this problem but a CD player problem ... This is for a 2009 Elantra... The CD player has a "Disc Checking " message on the player screen with no CD in it or if I put a CD in it ... The eject won't give the CD back to I have to pry / trick it back out.. Have tried everything with this and have not had any luck .. Any thoughts or ideas from others who've had the same issue .. Thanks.
Because manufacturers and dealers are all about making money - new purchases and service sales. If you did not know the info in this video, you would take it directly to a shop or dealer shop and they would not discuss this with you (most). They would "service" your car so they can charge you a ridiculous fee. The same issue goes for the "required" services on every aspect of your car, the life span of many cars, etc. Nothing lasts like we think it should because nothing is built to last like it should. It is simply not the strategy of most manufacturers of consumer products to make something for the consumer that lasts the longest time possible.
If the unit continues to send you a notification that Bluetooth, please wait without pairing. You could have an internal unit issue or the software with the unit is not compatible with a newer phone especially if you have an apple 14 or 15 model or the newer Samsung’s
I found then the Bluetooth was paired with the phone and radio caused the fault . No phone no problems. when phone was removed from radio still working .
YEP.. my mothers 2013 with 20,000 km's .. .RADIO DEAD... Hyundai said "OH SORRY THAT'S ONLY A 2 YEAR WARRANTY" .. I said "What the hell you talkin about. 3 years bumper to bumper" ... NOPE... so now every 2-3 months the radio dies.... I PULL THE 15 AMP FUSE (marked the fuse with liquid paper) AND PLUG IT BACK IN... good to go for another 2 months or so... .such CRAP. I've owned 5 Hyundais since 1999 (4 Hyundai & 1 Kia) ... I haven't been to keen on this 13 Elantra GT... might be time to switch brands next time round?
When you say the radio is dead do you mean like it won’t work completely or is there something else wrong with it? My ‘11 Elantra just recently started having speaker issues. The front right passenger one stopped working no noise at all and then the back speakers randomly work, but the sound is very low. The front driver side speaker so far no issues. I have the factory stereo and speakers installed into my car. I don’t know if there is a short somewhere or if my head unit is broken or becoming faulty or if it’s my speakers that have failed. I’m debating on replacing all the speakers and head unit as I need sound in my vehicle when I drive.
SAME, me and my friend both have the same system in Hyundais, 2012 models, hers in 4wd, mines an active, BOTH our radio sound went intermittantly working then stopped all together, i've been quoted $1500 to replace the whole system :(
Don't you think that if we are watching you tube videos on how to fix the radio/or anything, its probably because flicking the on/off switch isn't fixing it, and i dont know anything else beyond that, but my 2 year old would know to try that first.... come on now.
Background noise is awesome. Didnt have any issues hearing you
I discover the blue tooth was causing the problem . When the phone was disconnected it worked fine.

Bit of advice , dont have a vacuum cleaner running in the background when making a vid
This is rubbish - does nothing - these units have known faults - like mine - that DOES not FIx the problem!!
OMG can't you do this crap without the dam vacuum ? Jesus christ help me !!!
You have lied to me
