For those who don't get it. The story is about double standards. The mother stand against child marriage for the other girl Nasreen but not for her own daughter Aiman. At 5:10 shows (through letter) that the boss (probably) of the father wants to marry his daughter Aiman else something bad would happen. That's the reason when her mother says "uske toh 2 bachche hain", she means the aged boss. The person sitting next to Aiman in the end of the video is her husband. Another irony is that we only sympathise the girls of poor class getting married early not of the middle or high class, that's shown in the TV report in the end.
There's nothing wrong with being married as long as your husband or wife doesn't stop you from reaching your halal dreams. You can work together and come to a consensus of where you want to be in life. It's just that Pakistan has sort of a warped image of marriage where a woman is unable to do anything at all if she's married off. Especially if she's being married for some kind of pact or for land or money. I'M SO SORRY BUT MOST PEOPLE IN PAKISTAN NEED TO GET OUT OF THE TRIBALIST MENTALITY.
I do not understand. For instance, the employers kept saying things like she is too young to marry but, at the same time, they are employing a child, which brings forth the issue of child Labour.
People think us Muslim girls work 24 hours a day with strict parents doing all chores and have no fun while I’m out here IN REAL LIFE actually having a nanny to do my chores and go out with my friends and wear whatever I want with a hijab on and Netflix and chill in my bed, living my teenage life, not even damn thinking about marriage, I fact I don’t think I wanna get married (unless I find my true love) other then that I wanna explore the world (which my parents let me do cause I’m not fucking oppressed for the last time) like it’s not only Muslim, it has nothing to do with religion if u live in a strict household NOT AT ALL, I have a Christian friend who says she lives in hell cause of her parents cause they’re so strict, I’m allowed to talk to boys although her parents don’t let her and she’s not Muslim,,,, it’s never about religion, please learn that

I am married at a young age as well, but I have never ever in my life experienced any negativity like this. In fact i am living a very happy life. Marriage does not automatically mean 'becoming a maid'. Marriage does not automatically mean no education, no games, no fun, must cook, must clean etc. Marriage is a beautiful bond between two people that become halal for each other and stand side by side through good and bad times. It is about starting a new family, a new generation, it is about helping each other to get to jannat. Sadly, some people have corrupted this concept and have changed this into 'cook, clean and have kids'. And yes, cooking, cleaning, having kids all comes with marriage, but that is just a small portion of it. But of course, we cant deny reality. There are indeed some disgusting people out there who basically 'sell' their daughters. That is the main problem. The problem is not age necessarily, the problem is the thought behind the marriage. Whether someone is 16 or 25 or 30 years old, if the intention is only to gain ground or money, it is still wrong. No matter the age, because everyone is different and some girls and boys do mature faster and some are a little late, both physically and mentally. There are a lot of examples where teenagers behave much better and much more mature than some people in their 30s.
