I hit my first iWS3 pickup from uf2,1 in a real match just yesterday. I popped off so much that I lost my focus, then lost the round, then lost the game 😂 didn't care though, that shit was satisfying af I'm still inconsistent with the f4 pickup after sabaki and my KNK cancels could use some work, but that's one of the best things about Leo though - they're easy to pickup, hard to master.
Good shit on finally landing iWS3 pickup! I only go for heat after uf2,1 since it's more guaranteed and I can still carry to wall if need be. Im also tryna improve my mixup game as well with the KNK cancels. AyoRichie made an indepth guide how to do it, but my damn brain and fingers don't wanna work together to master it yet. May our Leo journeys see better results in the future and keep up the grind bro 😎🤙
I've not once been able to land the WS3 pickup after sabeki :( Anyone got any tips for landing it? KNK cancels I can manage (occasionally) but iWS3 is a different beast.
I’ve never done iws3 after sabeki, F4 pickup is much easier. Turn on frame display to see exactly when Leo recovers from UF2,1 and practice seeing how fast you can input qcf3 (iws3)
Amazing Leo as always! Quick question tho! Whenever you do B3,1 into BOK or F3 into BOK, does the down input not comeout for you sometimes? I'll be trying to mixup my opponents and anytime I try to do a move that goes into BOK like F3, the game doesn't register my down input and it'll cause Leo to just stand still for a quick sec or go into full normal crouch, not in stance. I go into practice mode to make sure my inputs and muscle memory are precise, which they seem to be, but once I go online, it's like I'm playing a slot machine hoping my BOK comes out. The amount of games I lost due to that is so much it should be a SIN 😭
@HBLZ I guess I didn't explain myself properly. I know every move that goes into BOK and I know to hold down for stance (sorry I didnt elaborate earlier), but I swear sometimes I'm holding down when I do F3 during an online match and the game just doesn't register it. Wasn't sure if the game being weird or its just a personal skill issue lol Thanks for the response tho and keep up the good work fam 🤙

I think SS1+2 is the hardest pickup. But I always try the iws3 pickup, so maybe thats why (I blame AyoRichie because thats the pickup he'd always do).

The input always comes out for me. Make sure you’re holding the down input rather than just pressing it to enter BOK stance
