Supernatural's Boxing is the best overall workout on Quest. This is coming from a guy who played basically every other game on the Quest (to avoid a subscription) an hour a day for a year straight to lose weight. I wish I had used Supernatural the whole time especially since the Boxing mode came out. You can play games to burn calories but Supernatural keeps your heartrate near biking levels for a more consistent amount of time which translates into hitting your calorie goals much quicker.
Supernatural is rad. Been using it for years and they have been great about improving it over time. It is a real workout AND fun. That is the draw for sure. I won't go to a gym but I do work out in SN 4-5 times a week. This dude is awesome and I am envious he got to meet Leanne in person, she is brilliant, my workout crush fo sho.
If I had $300 to spend on fitness, I would buy more workout clothes and I would continue doing what I prefer to do for exercise which is running and walking.
I have owned a meta quest 3 for over a year and i still get dizzy using it. Plus, the amount of sweat and condensation that would build up in the headset from a workout would be crazy. So no to that
Getting dizzy on the quest does not mean you will get dizzy in supernatural. I have no problems on supernatural but when I was turning around in horizon using my controller instead of physically turning around, I felt really nauseous. Athletes buy fan attachments that pull the humidity out of the mask. I haven’t purchased one, but getting VR sweat bands (not black) made a huge difference for me as well as having a floor fan pointed at me to keep me cooler.
Ok? Not sure what this comment means. You eat rice and beans while imagining it’s dessert? You don’t listen to music because you compose all your own in your head?
@vaalea1 meaning you can imagine anything you want for free and work out in your back yard in any fashion no VR needed to work out and have fun. Buying things won't get you in shape.
Nothing, if you are motivated. The news clip explained people going from VR workouts to being more motivated to do other forms of exercise, and continuing to use VR to supplement.
So space Travel and aerobics. This is the stuff of dreams for space agencies. A family trained to assist in the cyber operations of a space ship. A cryogenic distant galaxy bound human filled Conquistador Space Ship. This family would each wear the space ship suit and each would swim in virtual reality allowing the neuralink to stimulate the remote robot control system of the galactic cruiser. That's what this looks like to me.

It needs to be approachable. Lots of people who are out of shape are conscious of their body and going to the gym is intimidating for them. Having a workout they enjoy in their home or while traveling is a super power. Anyone who's ever been fit in their life knows that consistency is far more important than intensity.
Yes a VR workout is not a workout. As you age and get into your older years it’s been proven scientifically that it’s critical to keep as much muscle as you can. You’re not going to build muscle doing cardio. You need to strength train and actually lift some weights. Bunch of lazy people.
Supernatural has been great, been using it for just about a year now, down 30lbs so far and feel much better.

It's one of my top games for sure but I have a growing rotation now, there are some really great options to mix it up ;)
I've been using Supernatural for almost 4 years. I love it.

Hopefully, they made it with washable parts.
You can buy silicone grips and covers for the quest.
